Langeliers will join the Braves' big-league camp this spring.

Langeliers was taken with the ninth-overall pick in last year's draft. He's not close to pushing for a big-league roster spot, as his only professional experience to date has come with Low-A Rome, where he hit a modest .255/.310/.343 in 54 games.

Rutschman was invited to the Orioles' big-league spring training camp on Monday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

The 2019 first-overall pick will spend his first spring as a professional with the Orioles' major-league coaching staff. He's expected to spend several summers with that group as well, though that's unlikely to begin in 2020, as he's yet to reach High-A ball.

Campusano was invited to the Padres' major-league spring training Thursday.

Campusano was named a co-MVP of the California League last season after logging a .320 batting average with 13 home runs while playing for High-A Lake Elsinore. He struggled in the Arizona Fall League, but he'll get the chance to develop in the spring with the major-league coaching staff. Campusano will likely spend 2020 at the Double-A level.

Contreras agreed to a one-year, $4.5 million deal with the Cubs, avoiding arbitration, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

This is his first of three years as an arbitration-eligible player, and $4.5 million is a pretty good haul for such a player. There have been trade rumors surrounding Contreras for much of the offseason, and interested teams can now be certain how much they would have to pay Contreras in 2020.

Sanchez and the Yankees agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal to avoid arbitration Friday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Sanchez bounced back from a shaky 2018 season to hit .232/.316/.525 with 34 homers in 106 games last season. He's now broken the 30-homer plateau two out of the last three seasons.

Casali and the Reds avoided arbitration with a one-year, $1,462,500 deal Friday, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Casali hit well enough for a catcher in 84 games last season, posting a .251/.331/.411 line with eight homers. He looks set to split time with Tucker Barnhart again this season.

Narvaez signed a one-year, $2.725 million deal with the Brewers on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The 27-year-old was acquired by the Brewers from the Mariners in early December and is now officially under contract with his new team. Narvaez should serve as the team's primary catcher in 2020, though his heavy career splits (.836 OPS vs. RHP and .699 OPS vs. LHP) will likely allow Manny Pina to earn regular starts against southpaws.

Hedges agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Padres on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

This is Hedges' second year as an arbitration-eligible player. He will go through the process two more times before hitting the open market after the 2022 season.

Stassi (hip) signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with Los Angeles on Thursday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.

Stassi and the Angels will avoid arbitration by settling on a one-year deal. It remains unclear if he'll be ready for Opening Day after undergoing hip surgery in September, likely giving Jason Castro and Anthony Bemboom a leg up on the competition.

Gosewich signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Thursday as a non-roster invitee.

Gosewich spent last season with Triple-A San Antonio after he failed to secure a spot on the Brewers' major-league roster. He'll get the chance to compete in major-league spring training again in 2020 after slashing .205/.299/.308 with three home runs and nine RBI over 49 games at the Triple-A level last year.
