Torrens went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 10-4 win over Miami.

After an umpire review, Torrens recorded his first homer of the season during a seven-run fifth inning for the Mets. The 28-year-old backstop is hitting .364 (4-for-11) with the aforementioned long ball thus far, and he should remain New York's primary catcher until Francisco Alvarez (hand) is ready to come off the injured list.

Jeffers went 1-for-2 with two walks in Monday's 9-0 loss to the White Sox.

Jeffers took a break from catching duties Monday to serve as the designated hitter, and he was responsible for one of the Twins' two hits Monday. The 27-year-old is looking to improve on a 2024 campaign in which he logged career highs in home runs (21) and RBI (64). Jeffers will likely return behind home plate for Tuesday's contest.

Contreras went 0-for-3 with one walk and two strikeouts in Monday's 11-1 loss to the Royals.

Contreras struck out swinging in his first two plate appearances but managed to draw a walk in the eighth inning. The Brewers have struggled offensively through the first four games of the season outside of their nine-run effort in a loss to the Yankees on Saturday, and Contreras has started the year 2-for-14 with one walk, one run and five strikeouts.

Dingler is starting at catcher and batting seventh in Monday's game against the Mariners.

Four games into the season, Dingler and Jake Rogers have alternated starts behind the plate each day, with Dingler getting the call Monday and Rogers headed to the bench. One of the two could emerge at some point to seize a larger role, but for now, it appears that they're locked into a fairly even split that puts a lid on the fantasy values of both players.

Kelly is starting at catcher and will bat ninth Monday against the Athletics.

Kelly is in line for his second start behind the dish in four days after going 0-for-3 at the dish Friday against the Diamondbacks. He picked up his first hit of the season March 19 against the Dodgers during the Tokyo Series, also managing to draw a walk in the matchup.

Amaya isn't in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Athletics.

This marks Amaya's second game off of the young regular season after also sitting down for Friday's matchup against the Diamondbacks. Carson Kelly is starting behind the plate and will bat ninth in Amaya's absence.

Naylor is not in the Guardians' starting lineup against the Padres on Monday.

Austin Hedges will start behind home plate Monday and bat ninth against San Diego left-hander Kyle Hart. Naylor has gone 2-for-12 with one RBI and three strikeouts across his first three outings of the 2025 season.

Rogers is not in the Tigers' starting lineup against the Mariners on Monday.

Rogers will get a rest Monday while Dillon Dingler starts behind home playe and bats seventh against Mariners right-hander Emerson Hancock. Rogers has gone 2-for-7 with a triple and one run across his first two outings of the 2025 season.

Fortes is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Fortes will get a breather Monday after he worked behind the dish in both of the final two games of the Marlins' weekend series versus Pittsburgh. Liam Hicks will pick up the start at catcher in place of Fortes, who has recorded one extra-base hit (two doubles, one triple) in each of his first three games of the season.

Murphy (rib) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Previous reports suggested that Murphy would likely start his rehab assignment at High-A Rome on Friday, but Atlanta has pushed him up a few days. Murphy will be eligible for activation from the 10-day injured list Friday and would seem to have a shot to return then, although the club has not revealed a target date for their starting catcher. Drake Baldwin has been serving as the club's primary backstop to begin the season with Murphy out.
