Braves' Travis d'Arnaud: Sitting down Saturday
D'Arnaud (head) isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Saturday's game against the Padres.
D'Arnaud exited Friday's contest with dizziness after taking a foul ball off his facemask, but he was cleared of a concussion immediately after the game. As a precaution, Atlanta will give the 35-year-old backstop the next two days off, but he is available to play in an emergency situation, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. Chadwick Tromp will fill in behind the dish Saturday and Sunday.

Rockies' Elias Diaz: Sitting out third straight
Diaz (hand) isn't in the Rockies' lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.
Left hand soreness will cause Diaz to miss his third game in a row Saturday. The Rockies haven't given any indication that the 33-year-old backstop is trending toward an IL stint, but he may have to spend time on the injured list if his condition doesn't improve within the next couple of days. Hunter Goodman will start behind the plate and bat eighth while Diaz recovers.

Patrick Bailey C | SF
Giants' Patrick Bailey: Clear to resume baseball activities
Bailey (concussion) was evaluated Friday by Dr. Mickey Collins, a concussion expert in Pittsburgh, and was cleared for baseball activities this weekend, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Bailey has been on the 7-day concussion list twice this month. The catcher is expected to be evaluated by the Giants again next week, so a return is not imminent. Blake Sabol and Curt Casali will continue to share the catching duties until Bailey is activated.
