Stanton is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Stanton went 2-for-4 in the series opener Friday. Trent Grisham will start in center field while Aaron Judge shifts to DH against Rays right-hander Zack Littell.

Larnach is not listed in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Toronto.

The left-handed batter will see righty catcher Ryan Jeffers start at designated hitter as Minnesota takes on southpaw pitcher Yusei Kikuchi. Larnach is slashing an impressive .345/.393/.545 on the season with 11 RBI and three home runs.

Yoshida got a third opinion on his left thumb and said Friday that the injury wouldn't require surgery, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Yoshida is battling a strained left thumb and, up until this point, surgery was not off the table. After seeing his third specialist, it's been decided that he'll be able to go straight into rehab without it. Manager Alex Cora said it will still be weeks until Yoshida can resume swinging a bat, per Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald.

Garver went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a loss to the Twins on Wednesday.

Garver's fourth-inning solo shot to right field put the Mariners on the board and served as his third time leaving the yard in the last 11 contests. Garver has also reached safely in six consecutive games, perhaps a sign he's finally beginning to work out of the extended slump that's defined the first month-plus of his tenure in Seattle.

Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 9-4 win against Houston.

Stanton hit one of three homers for New York in the victory, taking Spencer Arrighetti deep for a 447-foot solo blast in the third inning. It was the second straight game with a long ball for the slugger, and he extended his modest hitting streak to five games. Stanton has struck out 10 times in 20 at-bats over that stretch, so he's far from locked in at the plate, but three of his five hits during the streak have gone for extra bases.

Yoshida is still experiencing discomfort in his left thumb and will be examined by a specialist Wednesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Yoshida could receive additional opinions, noting Wednesday that he's been told he's dealing with "a rare injury" and is still figuring out the best way to proceed with his recovery. He's been out for all of May with the injury, and a timetable for his return from the 10-day injured list remains up in the air.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.

With southpaw Mitchell Parker on the hill for Washington, the left-handed-hitting O'Hearn will retreat to the bench. Adley Rutschman will get a day off from catching duties and will fill in for O'Hearn as Baltimore's designated hitter.

Ramirez went 4-for-4 with a double, three runs scored and one RBI in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Ramirez garnered a start against the right-handed Mike Clevinger and made the most of it, tallying his first four-hit game of the season. The 29-year-old pushed his batting average to .286 (34-for-123) with the effort. However, starts against right-handed pitching may be become rarer for Ramirez as Josh Lowe (hamstring) returned from the injured list Monday to enter the mix for Rays outfield and designated hitter at-bats.

Velazquez is out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Brewers.

It's the second straight day on the bench for Velazquez, who is in a 2-for-32 tailspin at the plate. He served as a pinch-hitter in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers and will be available off the bench Monday. Adam Frazier will serve as the Royals' designated hitter, and Kansas City could continue to rotate a number of players at that spot in the lineup while Velazquez has seemingly lost hold of an everyday role.

The Rangers placed Langford (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Just as manager Bruce Bochy said would be the case following Sunday's 3-2 win over the Royals, Langford was deactivated due to a right hamstring strain that's expected to sideline the rookie for around 3-to-4 weeks. Texas called up infielder Jonathan Ornelas from Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move.
