Belt is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

With the Blue Jays and White Sox concluding their series with a day game after a night game, Belt and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier will receive maintenance days. Alejandro Kirk will get a day off behind the plate to serve as the Blue Jays' designated hitter in Belt's stead.

Buxton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Buxton looks to be sitting out for maintenance purposes while the Twins and Yankees conclude their series with a day game after a night game. Jose Miranda will step in as the Twins' designated hitter in place of Buxton, who has settled into a groove at the dish of late with seven hits -- including two home runs and three doubles -- over his last six games.

Ohtani went 0-for-4 with two stolen bases in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Athletics.

Ohtani reached base in the fifth via a fielder's choice and wound up stealing second and third but would not score. It was a quiet day for him otherwise, and he's now slashing .253/.327/.460 with five homers, 13 RBI, 14 runs and a 10:24 BB:K over 98 plate appearances.

Buxton went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run during Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Yankees.

The 29-year-old doubled and was stranded during the second inning, and he broke a 2-2 tie during the sixth with a 367-foot homer to left field. It's the first time since April 11 -- and only the third time all season -- Buxton has delivered multiple RBI in a game. He has a .244/.308/.463 slash line with four home runs, 10 RBI and a 33 percent strikeout rate through 22 games this year.

Ramirez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Tampa Bay outfield and designated-hitter picture became more murky Tuesday with Jose Siri (hamstring) returning from the injured list, but despite getting Tuesday off, Ramirez should be well insulated from a playing-time perspective. Ramirez enters the series opener in Houston sporting a monstrous 1.145 OPS over his 69 plate appearances on the season.

Alvarez (neck) remains out of the Astros' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Rays, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

It's the second straight game he'll sit out with a neck injury that has been bothering him for the last week or so. A stint on the injured list for Alvarez hasn't been ruled out, although there's also been no indication to this point that's where it's headed. Corey Julks is in left field and David Hensley is at designated hitter Tuesday.

Jimenez is starting in right field and batting third Tuesday in Toronto.

He'll be playing the outfield for just the third time this season after 13 of his starts had come at designated hitter. The 26-year-old has professed a desire to play the outfield regularly, but it's in the best interest of his health and the White Sox's defense to minimize the slugger's time in the field.

Alvarez's neck injury is "about the same as yesterday," Astros manager Dusty Baker said in an interview on SportsTalk 790 in Houston on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Baker indicated Monday that an injured list stint for Alvarez hasn't been ruled out and added the club is awaiting word from its doctors on how to proceed with the injury. Alvarez first began experiencing neck discomfort about a week ago and finally sat out on Monday against the Rays. Hopefully, more is known about Alvarez's condition prior to Tuesday's contest.

Rooker went 2-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and two walks in Monday's win over the Angels.

Oakland hit five home runs against Angels starter Jose Suarez, including solo shots from Rooker in the first and third innings. Rooker has gone deep six times with a pair of multi-homer games, all coming in his last 11 games. On the year, he's slashing .333/.441/.729 with 14 RBI and a 9:10 BB:K through 59 plate appearances.

Reyes (personal) has been reinstated from paternity list by the Royals on Monday.

Reyes missed three games while attending to a new addition to his family. Nate Eaton was optioned to Triple-A Omaha in a corresponding move to make room for Reyes on the roster.
