Franmil Reyes DH | WAS
Indians' Franmil Reyes: Drives in three Monday
Reyes went 2-for-4 double, a run scored and three RBI to help the Indians to an 11-3 win over the White Sox on Monday.
The 24-year-old continues to swing a hot bat of late, as he's now recorded multi-hit efforts in four out of his last seven games, driving in 10 runs over that stretch. His .250 average is pedestrian, but Reyes has been an excellent source of power this season, cranking 33 homers and slapping 14 doubles to leave him with a solid .519 slugging percentage across 420 at-bats with the Padres and Indians.

Miguel Cabrera DH | DET
Tigers' Miguel Cabrera: Hits 10th home run
Cabrera went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Twins.
Cabrera got the scoring started for Detroit with a first inning homer off of Minnesota starter Jake Odorizzi. It was just the 10th home run of the season for the 36-year-old, who has hit only 29 long balls since the start of the 2017 season. However, the blast was a career milestone for Cabrera, as he moved into a tie with Stan Musial and Willie Stargell for 31st all time with 475 home runs.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Mariners' Daniel Vogelbach: Outstanding offensive effort in win
Vogelbach went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a bases-loaded walk, another base on balls and two runs overall in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.
Vogelbach generated one of five multi-hit efforts on a breakout offensive day for the Mariners. The slugger limped to a .130 average in a forgettable August, but he does have a modest three-game hitting streak and is now just one homer away from hitting 30-mark in that category for the first time in his career.

Nick Solak 1B | PIT
Rangers' Nick Solak: Sitting out Monday
Solak is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.
Solak appeared to be overtaking Rougned Odor for the primary job at second base, but that may no longer be in the cards with the latter set to make his fifth straight start at the position Monday. Even if Solak remains blocked at second base, he should still have a decent avenue to steady action at either third base or designated hitter. The rookie had cracked the lineup for each of the Rangers' last 13 games, batting .333 with five extra-base hits and a stolen base.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Red Sox's J.D. Martinez: Caps of excellent road trip
Martinez went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Angels.
Martinez enjoyed his time out West with Boston playing in San Diego, Colorado and Anaheim. He hit safely in all eight games, going 14-for-31 (.452) with six home runs and 18 RBI.

Mike Ford DH | MIN
Yankees' Mike Ford: Smashes walkoff homer
Ford recorded a pinch-hit, walkoff home run in his lone plate appearance in Sunday's 5-4 victory over the Athletics.
The 27-year-old is losing at-bats to Luke Voit, who just returned from the injured list, but if Ford keeps hitting home runs, manager Aaron Boone may have to a spot in the lineup for him. Ford has five homers and six RBI in his last six contests. Overall, Ford is batting .236 with 10 home runs, 16 RBI and 23 runs in 110 at-bats this season.

Shohei Ohtani DH | LAD
Angels' Shohei Ohtani: Sitting again Sunday
Ohtani is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Ohtani will be on the bench for a second consecutive game with Boston bringing another lefty starter (David Price) to the hill. Justin Upton will once again serve as the Angels' designated hitter while Ohtani sits out.

Byron Buxton CF | MIN
Twins' Byron Buxton: Available for running, defense
The Twins reinstated Buxton (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Buxton had been on the shelf since early August with the left shoulder subluxation and recently suffered a setback while rehabbing the injury at Low-A Cedar Rapids. Though the Twins are bringing him back from the IL, Buxton will only be available to pinch run and play the outfield initially, as he has yet to resume taking live swings, according to Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com. Max Kepler is thus expected to continue receiving the bulk of the starts in center field until Buxton experiences no complications while batting.
-
Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM
Rays' Ji-Man Choi: Smacks solo homer
Choi went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run Saturday in the Rays' 9-6 win over the Indians.
With multi-hit showings in four of his last six starts, Choi has picked a good time to catch fire at the plate with the Rays bringing aboard another first base/designated hitter type in Nate Lowe from Triple-A Durham as a September callup. Though Lowe will occupy the DH spot in Sunday's series finale, Choi will man first base, leaving Jesus Aguilar and Avisail Garcia as the odd men out.

Mike Ford DH | MIN
Yankees' Mike Ford: Losing work to Voit
Ford is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
He'll sit for the second time in three days and looks on track to get squeezed out of the lineup more regularly following Luke Voit's return from the injured list over the weekend. With Voit back in the fold as the team's everyday first baseman, Ford will likely be part of a rotation of several players at the designated hitter spot.
