  • J.D. Martinez DH | NYM

Dodgers' J.D. Martinez: Clubs two homers at Coors Field

Martinez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a solo homer scored in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Colorado.

Martinez took advantage of the Colorado altitude, launching a two-run home run off Connor Seabold in the third inning and a solo shot off Brad Hand to lead off the sixth. The outing marked his third multi-homer performance on the year and broke a 12-game home run drought -- his second longest of the season -- to push his season total to 18 long balls. After recording a disappointing 16 home runs over 139 games last season with Boston, Martinez has already surpassed his 2022 total in 62 games and is on pace to come near his career high of 45 round trippers.

  • Mets' Daniel Vogelbach: Hits fifth homer

Vogelbach went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 7-2 win against the Brewers.

The 30-year-old went deep Tuesday for the third time in his past nine games after hitting just two long balls in his first 47 contests of the season. Vogelbach sat out for a week earlier in June in order to work on his swing, and he's gone 9-for-32 with a double, three homers, nine RBI and five runs since rejoining the lineup.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Brewers' Jesse Winker: Sitting against lefty

Winker isn't in the Brewers' lineup Tuesday against the Mets.

Winker is slashing just .143/.250/.286 across 24 plate appearances since returning from the injured list June 17, and he'll retreat to the bench against left-hander David Peterson. Willy Adames will fill in as Milwaukee's designated hitter, opening a spot for Andruw Monasterio to start at shortstop and bat ninth.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Belts 16th homer

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's win over the Twins.

With the score tied 1-1 in the seventh inning, the veteran slugger started a three-run rally by hammering a Sonny Gray fastball into the seats in right-center field. Ozuna has gone yard three times in the last five contests while extending his hitting streak to seven games, as he puts the finishing touches on a big June that has seen him slash .314/.402/.571 with five of his 16 homers and 15 of his 37 RBI on the season.

  • Mark Canha LF | TEX

Mets' Mark Canha: Losing work to Pham, Vogelbach

Canha is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Brewers.

Canha will sit for the fourth time in five games and appears to have moved into a reserve role with Tommy Pham and Daniel Vogelbach having since re-emerged as regulars in the lineup versus right-handed pitching. The Mets should still have steady playing time available for Canha against southpaws, since the lefty-hitting Vogelbach rarely starts when the platoon advantage isn't in his favor.

  • Joey Meneses DH | NYM

Nationals' Joey Meneses: Collects three RBI

Meneses went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Meneses knocked an RBI single in the sixth inning followed by a two-run double in the seventh. He was stuck in a 7-for-38 (.184 skid) over his previous 10 games. Despite what's been a lackluster June, Meneses is hitting .293 with 18 doubles and 39 RBI through 72 games.

  • Ji-Man Choi 1B | NYM

Pirates' Ji-Man Choi: Rehab shifting to Triple-A

Choi (Achilles) will continue his rehab assignment at Triple-A Indianapolis this week, Jarrod Prugar of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Choi began a rehab assignment at Double-A Altoona this week and went 1-for-5 with a double and a strikeout over two games. Assuming he feels good after making some appearances with the Triple-A club, he'll likely be in the mix to return from the injured list late this week.

  • Jesse Winker DH | NYM

Brewers' Jesse Winker: Heads to bench Sunday

Winker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Winker is 2-for-17 with a home run -- his first of the season -- and 11 strikeouts in six games since returning from the injured list last weekend, and he'll sit Sunday against Cleveland righty Aaron Civale. Christian Yelich is resting his legs as the designated hitter while Blake Perkins starts in left.

  • Jorge Soler DH | LAA

Marlins' Jorge Soler: On bench Sunday

Soler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Pirates, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Soler is 2-for-20 over the past five games and will take a seat Sunday after making 15 consecutive starts. Garrett Cooper will serve as the designated hitter while Yuli Gurriel starts at first base.

  • Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Smacks 15th homer

Ozuna went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI against the Reds in a 7-6 victory Saturday.

Ozuna singled home a run in the third inning and added a solo shot to right field in the seventh. The long ball was the second in three days for the veteran and his 15th overall this season. Ozuna is on pace to reach the 30-homer mark for the second time in his career, with the other being in 2017 with Miami.
