Pederson went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and two walks Wednesday against the Mets.

Pederson went yard in the first inning to record his 11th home run of the season. Through his first 14 games in May, Pederson hit just .051 with one home run. However, across his last five starts, he's tallied seven hits in 14 at-bats, with four home runs -- three came Tuesday against the Mets -- 10 RBI and four runs scored. On the campaign, Pederson has maintained a .260/.331/.606 line across 118 plate appearances.

Canha is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Canha turned in a pair of two-hit games in the first two contests of the series, but he'll get a breather for the series finale. With Canha on the bench, the Mets will roll out an outfield of Jeff McNeil, Brandon Nimmo and Starling Marte from left to right.

Ruf went 2-for-5 with a walk, three runs and an RBI in Tuesday's 13-12 win over the Mets.

He came around to score his third and final run of the night on Brandon Crawford's game-winning two-out single to left field in the bottom of the ninth inning. Ruf was making his seventh consecutive start Tuesday, and he should have a fairly clear path to an everyday role while LaMonte Wade (knee) and Brandon Belt (knee) are on the injured list.

Harper went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and four RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to Atlanta.

He appeared to have given the Phillies the win with a two-run blast off Kenley Jansen in the top of the ninth inning, but Atlanta answered back in the bottom of the frame to walk it off. Harper continues to rake despite a UCL sprain in his elbow, and through 16 games in May he's slashing .364/.394/.803 with seven of his 10 homers on the year.

Pederson went 4-for-6 with three home runs and eight RBI in the Giants' 13-12 win over the Mets on Tuesday.

After going 4-for-45 through his first 17 May games, Pederson broke out in a big way against the Mets. He tagged New York's pitchers for two-run homers in the third, fifth and eighth innings and tied the game with a two-run single in the ninth. The 30-year-old upped his line to .255/.316/.578, with his 10 home runs and .262 isolated power both ranking top 15 in MLB.

Vogelbach was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained left hamstring, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

The 29-year-old started Monday after missing three straight games with an injury to his lower body, and he's now sidelined by a hamstring injury. Vogelbach will be eligible to return June 3, though it's unclear exactly how long he's expected to be sidelined. Michael Chavis is likely to see increased playing time during Vogelbach's absence.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts stated recently that Turner will spend more time as designated hitter while Max Muncy sees more work at third base moving forward, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Though Turner has been playing better of late, he hasn't hit to his usual standards so far this season, slashing just .207/.265/.364 with four homers through 140 at-bats. Muncy has struggled even more, slashing just .157/.327/.276 with three homers in 154 plate appearances. Roberts suggested that the change is meant to help both veterans settle into a consistent role, likely in hopes that such a move will jumpstart their bats. "I think getting each of those guys more accustomed to a certain role, I think ultimately could be beneficial," Roberts stated.

Vogelbach (lower body) is starting Monday against the Rockies.

Vogelbach was out of the lineup for the last three games while tending to a lower-body injury, but he'll serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup in Monday's series opener. Over his last five games, he's gone 2-for-14 with a triple, an RBI, a walk and six strikeouts.

Turner isn't starting Monday against the Nationals.

Turner drew starts in the last four games and went 4-for-16 with a homer, a double, four RBI, two walks and five strikeouts. However, he'll get a breather while Edwin Rios serves as the designated hitter and bats cleanup.

Belt received a cortisone shot and had his knee drained Sunday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Belt was unavailable for the Giants' weekend series against the Padres and has landed on the injured list for the second time this season. However, he's optimistic that he'll be able to return after spending the minimum of 10 days on the IL. Darin Ruf and Wilmer Flores should see additional time at first base while Belt is sidelined.
