Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: Homers Saturday
Vogelbach went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 3-0 win over the Cardinals on Saturday.
Vogelbach took Adam Wainwright deep to the opposite field in the fourth as he and Ryan Braun went back-to-back in the inning to give the Brewers a 2-0 lead. Vogelbach seems to have found a home in Milwaukee as he's hitting .345/.429/.600 with four home runs, 11 RBI and 19 runs scored in 18 games since being claimed by the Brewers on Sept 3.

Matt Carpenter DH | STL
Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Comes through with double in win
Carpenter went 2-for-3 with an infield single and an RBI double during a win over the Brewers in the second game of a doubleheader Friday.
The 34-year-old snapped a brief 0-for-7 funk with his productive night, although he still remains well short of the Mendoza Line with just a .188 average on the campaign. Carpenter has shown occasional glimpses of his trademark power with 10 extra-base hits (six doubles, four home runs) across 166 plate appearances, but the veteran remains held down by a career-worst 28.9 percent strikeout rate.

Justin Turner DH | CHC
Dodgers' Justin Turner: Homers twice in win
Turner went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs during Friday's win over the Angels.
Turner launched a solo blast against Andrew Heaney in the third inning, bringing the Dodgers within one run. The 25-year-old third baseman then tacked on his second homer of the night against Heaney in the fifth inning. Turner now has four home runs on the season to go with a sturdy slash line of .310/.402/.469.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Braves' Marcell Ozuna: On base five times Friday
Ozuna went 3-for-4 with a two-RBI single and a pair of walks in Friday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Red Sox.
Ozuna's biggest contribution was his go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning, but that was just the beginning of a back-and-forth sequence. Atlanta got the win in the end as Freddie Freeman hit a walkoff two-run homer. Ozuna is up to 17 homers, 55 RBI, 37 runs scored and a .335/.429/.629 slash line through 58 games this season.

Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: On bench against lefty
Pederson will sit Friday against lefty Andrew Heaney and the Angels, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.
Pederson has started just a single game against a lefty this season, so it's no surprise to see that trend continue here. AJ Pollock starts in left field Friday, with Will Smith serving as the designated hitter.

Matt Carpenter DH | STL
Cardinals' Matt Carpenter: Not starting afternoon game
Carpenter will be on the bench for the first of Friday's two games against the Brewers, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Carpenter hits the bench with lefty Brent Suter on the mound for Milwaukee. He'll likely return to the lineup for the nightcap against righty Josh Lindblom. Tommy Edman starts at third base in his absence.
-
Brad Miller DH | SD
Cardinals' Brad Miller: Sitting Game 1
Miller is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader against the Brewers, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Miller is 3-for-9 with two doubles in his past three games but will take a seat for Friday's matinee. Dexter Fowler will serve as the designated hitter while Tyler O'Neill, Harrison Bader and Dylan Carlson start from left to right in the outfield.

Daniel Vogelbach DH | TOR
Brewers' Daniel Vogelbach: Out against lefty
Vogelbach is not in Thursday's lineup against the Cardinals.
He will head to the bench with lefty Kwang Hyun Kim on the hill for St. Louis. Jedd Gyorko will start at first base and bat cleanup.

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Reds' Jesse Winker: Connects for solo homer
Winker went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Brewers.
At one point the hottest hitter in all of Major League Baseball, Winker has cooled in September, hitting .095 in 42 at-bats around a stretch of missed time due to back tightness. He's fallen in the order against righties as a result, and Winker has also sat against the left two lefties the Reds have faced.

Andrew McCutchen DH | TEX
Phillies' Andrew McCutchen: Collects three extra-base hits
McCutchen went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, two doubles and two additional runs scored during 12-3 win over the Nationals.
The veteran outfielder didn't have any opportunities with runners in scoring position despite the Phillies posting 14 hits, but he set the table as the leadoff man. McCutchen has a .250/.325/.422 slash line with nine homers, 29 runs, 33 RBI and four stolen bases in 54 games
