Belt (neck) is starting at first base and batting cleanup Sunday against the Rockies, Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reports.

Belt was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to neck stiffness, but his quick return to the lineup indicates his absence was likely precautionary. The 29-year-old is slashing .231/.333/.500 with three doubles, three home runs and eight RBI through 60 plate appearances.

Turner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Milwaukee.

Turner started the past five games at third base and went 5-for-19 with one double and one RBI, but he will take a seat for the series finale. Max Muncy will start at third base and bat fifth while Cody Bellinger steps in at first base.

Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a triple and a walk in a loss to the Reds on Saturday.

Carpenter has yet to hit his stride at the plate in the early going, but Saturday's effort was certainly a step in the right direction. The veteran's three-bagger was his first of the season, and he's now reached safely in all eight of his April starts. Although he sports a middling .235 average through his first 60 plate appearances, it's worth noting the notoriously slow-starting Carpenter hit just .145 last April before embarking on a torrid four-month stretch that transformed his season.

Reyes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

His seventh-inning shot off Matt Andriese provided the winning run for the Padres. Reyes is slashing only .184/.267/.474 through 16 games, but he's starting to find his stroke: All three of his homers have come in the last six contests.

Winker hit a solo homer to left field in Saturday's win over the Cardinals, his third homer of the week.

The homer was especially important for the Reds, as it broke up Adam Wainwright's no-hitter in the sixth inning and tied the game, in a game the Reds later won.

Pederson is not starting Saturday against the Brewers.

Pederson sits against a righty for the first time this season, with Zach Davies on the mound for the Brewers. Chris Taylor gets the start in left field.

Ozuna's absence for the series finale is essentially a rest day, even though he continues to play at less than 100 percent health as he works back from offseason shoulder surgery. The shoulder has proven more bothersome for Ozuna while throwing from the outfield, with the 28-year-old struggling to relay balls to the infield with his usual accuracy and velocity. Fortunately for fantasy managers, Ozuna's struggles haven't extended to the offensive end, as he enters Thursday's game with a .262 average to go with three home runs and two steals in 11 contests after a 3-for-4, two-RBI night against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Carpenter is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers.

The Cardinals will extend Carpenter his first breather of the season one day after inking him to a two-year contract extension. He'll be one of three regulars resting in the series finale, with Marcell Ozuna and Yadier Molina joining him on the bench.
