Cabrera exited Tuesday's game against the Indians early due to groin tightness, Matthew Mowery of The Oakland Press reports.

Cabrera looked himself in his first game back from injury, slugging a two-run home run off of Corey Kluber in the third inning, but was removed late in the game for precautionary reasons after his groin tightened up. It sounds like there's a decent chance that the star first baseman will suit up Wednesday, although he may be penciled in as the team's designated hitter. He'll be considered day-to-day for now, but the injury does not appear to be serious.

Vogelbach was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

The 24-year-old failed to impress during his brief stay with the big club, collecting just two hits (both singles) while striking out four times in 14 at-bats. Vogelbach told the News Tribune that his "timing is off a little bit," but he felt he was seeing pitches well. It appears the Mariners are content to go with a combination of Danny Valencia and Taylor Motter at first base for the time being.

Cabrera (groin) is in the lineup Tuesday against the Indians.

Now that Cabrera is healthy, the Tigers are wasting no time getting the 34-year-old slugger back in their lineup. Cabrera is hitting third and starting at first base for Tuesday's outing against a Cleveland team that's starting Corey Kluber on the mound.

The Tigers activated Cabrera (groin) from the 10-day disabled list Tuesday.

After going through full baseball activities Monday without any issue, Cabrera has been cleared to rejoin the Tigers when first eligible to do so. The Tigers haven't revealed their lineup for Tuesday's game against the Indians, but it's expected that Cabrera will reclaim his usual duties at first base and assume a spot in the heart of the lineup. John Hicks, who performed well as the Tigers' primary first baseman while Cabrera was sidelined, was optioned to Triple-A Toledo in a corresponding move.

Martinez fouled a ball off his left foot during an extended spring training game Monday but X-rays were negative, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

It was the "other" foot -- Martinez is currently working his way back from a sprained lisfranc ligament in his right foot -- and apparently no significant damage was done. That said, Martinez was sore coming out of Friday's extended spring game, and this incident may further delay his return to the outfield. Martinez will need to show ample mobility in the outfield before the Tigers active him.

Ozuna went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Rays.

The homer was his first in eight games, giving him seven on the year, and Ozuna is starting to heat up again, reaching base eight times in his last four contests to push his slash line back up to .293/.353/.554. The 26-year-old is well on his way to a breakout season.

Pederson (groin) is scheduled to begin a minor-league rehab assignment Monday, David Vassegh of 570 LA Sports reports.

This will mark Pederson's first game action since landing on the disabled list last week. If all goes well with his rehab assignment, the Dodgers are optimistic the 25-year-old will be able to rejoin them for this weekend's series in San Diego.

Belt is not in the lineup Monday against the Dodgers, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

With Clayton Kershaw headed to the mound for the Dodgers, Belt will head to the bench as Mike Morse fills in at first base while Gorkys Hernandez takes over in left field. This comes as no surprise, given that Belt is just 3-for-51 (.059) with 27 strikeouts in his career against Kershaw.

Cabrera took batting practice, ran the bases and took grounders at first base on Monday, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera took batting practice earlier this week, but the fact that he was able to tack on running and fielding components to his workout has to be a good sign that he's close to getting back on the field. He'll be eligible to come off the disabled on Tuesday, and it appears likely that Cabrera will be activated when that time comes.

Harper went 2-for-4 with two walks, a solo home run and four runs scored in Sunday's 23-5 rout of the Mets.

He crossed the plate an incredible 32 times in April, setting a new MLB record for that particular month by shattering the previous mark of 29 set in 1997 by Larry Walker. Harper's nine homers, 26 RBI and .391/.509/.772 slash line are pretty good, too. With the Nats' offense firing on all cylinders right now, expect the 2015 NL MVP to continue piling up stats.
