Red Sox manager Alex Cora told reporters that Jansen felt "lightheaded" before leaving Friday's appearance against Atlanta, but he should be fine going forward, Tom Caron of NESN reports.

Jansen left Friday's appearance with a trainer, and he immediately went to the Boston clubhouse. It's a concerning development for anyone, but it's especially worrisome for the 35-year-old because of his history with atrial fibrillation. Fortunately, this exit appears to be precautionary with Cora believing that the right-hander should be OK going forward. Jansen may be held out of action for the next couple days, but it appears that he might be fine for the regular season.

Jansen left Friday's Grapefruit League appearance against Atlanta with a trainer, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Jansen went directly into the clubhouse after exiting the appearance. The right-hander is likely to undergo testing, and there should be an update on his status before the end of Friday's game. This would be a significant loss for Boston after they signed Jansen to serve as the closer for the 2023 season.

The Angels reassigned Warren to minor-league camp Friday.

Warren struggled last season with the Angels, logging a 5.63 ERA and 1.50 WHIP, and it cost him his spot on the 40-man roster. His spring numbers were much better, however -- a promising sign that the 27-year-old reliever might perform well enough at Triple-A to reclaim his spot on the 40-man and eventually return to Los Angeles.

Reyes was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Angels on Friday.

Reyes was unable to secure a spot in the Los Angeles bullpen to begin the 2023 campaign. The right-hander made two appearances for the Angels last season, and he is a good bet to be an up-and-down arm for the club in 2023.

Webb was reassigned Friday to the minor-league side of Angels camp.

Webb impressed with 10 strikeouts over eight scoreless innings this spring in the Cactus League, but he'll open the 2023 season in the bullpen at Triple-A Salt Lake. He could be a contributor for the Halos at some point this year.

Joyce was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Angels on Friday.

Joyce showed off his impressive fastball during his time in camp with the Angels -- clocking as high as 104 mph on radar guns -- but he also walked five over six appearances to suggest his command isn't quite big-league ready. The former University of Tennessee star will open in the upper levels, and he could be an option for the Angels' bullpen before the end of 2023.

Bachman was reassigned Friday to the minor-league side of Angels camp.

Bachman battled some general soreness earlier this month, but he seems to be past it now. The 2021 first-round pick is likely to begin the 2023 campaign in a starting role at Double-A Rocket City.

Herrin has been informed he's made the Opening Day roster for the Guardians, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Herrin was added to the 40-man roster ahead of the Rule 5 draft in November, and the southpaw registered an 11:2 K:BB with a 4.66 ERA over nine appearances in the Cactus League before receiving the good news. Herrin will likely will pitch in the middle innings while with the Guardians.

Kelly was reassigned Friday to the minor-league side of Guardians camp, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Hunter Gaddis and Tim Herrin will claim the final two spots in the Opening Day bullpen for Cleveland. Kelly made his MLB debut with the Phillies last year at age 29 but logged only four inning of relief before being outrighted off their 40-man roster in July.

Cordero is "in a good spot" to make the Yankees' Opening Day roster, manager Aaron Boone told Bryan Hoch of MLB.com Friday.

Not having options left improves his chances, but Cordero has also impressed with a 9:1 K:BB over nine innings this spring. The 31-year-old hasn't appeared in the majors since 2020 with the White Sox.
