Hendriks earned a save with a perfect inning against Detroit on Sunday.

Hendriks needed just nine pitches to quickly retired the Tigers in order and preserve the 4-2 lead. He's now thrown three perfect frames since returning from the injured list and Sunday was his first save since June 5. The 33-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 2.51 with a 42:8 K:BB and 17 saves through 28.2 frames. Hendriks is riding a 13.1-inning scoreless streak dating back to May 16.

Herget (shoulder) is slated to throw off a mound during the coming week, the Associated Press reports.

Herget was placed on the 15-day IL on June 22 with a right shoulder impingement. He wasn't expected to be out long, but the right-hander suffered a setback in the final days of June and was subsequently shut down. He now appears just about ready to resume mound work, which should put him on track to return to the big-league club shortly after the All-Star break.

Castillo allowed three runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 4.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Castillo performed well despite pitching on two days' rest after his relief outing July 7. He allowed a solo home run to Carlos Santana in the second inning, and the Mariners were able to scrape together two more runs in the fifth after an error by Vladimir Guerrero. This was Castillo's longest outing in the majors this year, and he may be a candidate to stretch out as a starter with Yusei Kikuchi (neck) out. Castillo owns a 2.30 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 18:3 K:BB across 15.2 major-league innings. The Blue Jays' fifth-starter spot comes up in the rotation next weekend in a home series against the Royals.

Sewald struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Sewald wasn't available for a save chance Saturday, which Diego Castillo converted, but it was Sewald back in the ninth inning Sunday. Over his last 10 innings, the 32-year-old right-hander has allowed one run and four hits while striking out 15 and notching six saves. He's 10-for-12 in save chances with a 2.43 ERA, 0.69 WHIP and 38:7 K:BB through 33.1 innings overall, and it appears the closer job is his for as long as he keeps pitching well.

Duffey allowed a hit and struck out one to earn the save in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

This was Duffey's second save of the year, and his only other one came May 16. Notably, Jhoan Duran gave up a solo home run to Corey Seager in the eighth inning. Save chances haven't been frequent for the Twins lately, and there's little clarity as to who the favorite for ninth-inning duties might be. Duffey has a 4.14 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 36:11 K:BB across 37 innings while adding two saves, nine holds and three blown saves in 33 outings, but he's been sharper lately with an active 13-inning scoreless streak.

Fulmer (2-3) allowed two unearned runs while retiring two batters and took the loss in Sunday's contest against the White Sox.

Fulmer was on his way to three straight flyouts in the eighth inning, but Robbie Grossman misplayed a ball, allowing Luis Robert to get to second. The Tigers then intentionally walked Jose Abreu and called on Gregory Soto from the bullpen. Soto proceeded to allow both inherited runners to score, saddling Fulmer with a tough-luck loss. The righty has been solid this year despite the losing record, as he now has a 1.93 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 32 strikeouts across 32.2 innings. Fulmer also has two saves in four opportunities, though Soto seems to have a pretty firm grip on the closer role at the moment.

The Angels optioned Silseth to Double-A Rocket City on Sunday.

The 22-year-old was recalled from Rocket City on June 28 and made two starts for the Angels, allowing seven earned runs on 11 hits with eight strikeouts and one walk over 8.1 innings between those contests. Between his two separate stints in the majors this season, Silseth has produced a 5.84 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 24.2 innings spanning six starts.

Sedlock was acquired by the Tigers from the Orioles on Sunday in exchange for cash considerations, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

A 2016 first-round pick, Sedlock made his big-league debut for Baltimore in May and surrendered five earned runs over three innings. He was subsequently removed from the 40-man roster and posted a 5.04 ERA with Triple-A Norfolk over the past month. The 27-year-old has failed to live up to his draft pedigree to this point but will now receive a fresh start.

Logue was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.

Logue started Saturday and picked up the win after giving up two earned runs over five innings, but he'll head back to the minors since the A's won't need a fifth starter until after the All-Star break. The left-hander has a 5.16 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB across 29.2 big-league innings this season.

Tapia was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.

Tapia was demoted to Las Vegas in late June but will rejoin the A's ahead of Sunday's series finale versus Houston. The right-hander has appeared in only three major-league games this season and has given up six earned runs over 3.2 innings.
