Pruitt, called from Triple-A Las Vegas earlier in the day, fired three scoreless innings during which he allowed two hits in a loss to the Rangers on Saturday.

Pruitt gave the Athletics some much-needed length on a day when starter Zach Logue was chased after 2.1 innings. The journeyman right-hander, who also has 10 starts on his career resume, is likely to remain in a multi-inning role while up with the big-league club.

Quijada (oblique) was activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Quijada has been sidelined since Opening Day with a strained oblique but will rejoin the active roster after a three-game rehab assignment. The 26-year-old had a 4.56 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 38:15 K:BB over 25.2 innings last year and should work in middle relief out of the bullpen.

Kolarek was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Kolarek was promoted from Triple-A during the opening weekend of the season, and he'll return there after giving up four runs over his past three outings. Overall this season the left-hander has a 4.58 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB across 17.2 innings.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that Ridings (shoulder) isn't throwing at the moment, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Ridings was reportedly throwing from flat ground a few weeks ago, so he may have encountered a setback in his recovery from a right shoulder impingement. However, Boone indicated that surgery is not being considered, thus it's unclear what Ridings' path toward a return currently looks like. Until more information is provided, a timeline for the right-handed hurler to make his season debut will remain murky.

Logue was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Logue had a 2.04 ERA over his first four outings for the A's, but he gave up 11 runs in his past two starts and is now headed back to the minors. The 26-year-old could receive another look in the majors this year but for now will return to Las Vegas, where he has a 5.63 ERA, 1.81 WHIP and 13:8 K:BB across 16 innings.

Garza (lat) returned to action for Triple-A Columbus on Saturday. He allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and three walks while recording just one out (via strikeout) versus Triple-A Buffalo.

This was Garza's season debut, as a right lat strain kept him out of action for nearly two months. The 28-year-old got his first taste of major-league play last year, but he'll likely need to prove himself again at Columbus before potentially being a candidate to join the Guardians' bullpen this year.

Tapia was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Tapia was claimed off waivers by the A's in late April, and he'll now join the big-league club after spending the past month with Las Vegas. He has a 3.38 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB over 13.1 innings at the Triple-A level this season.

Feyereisen (4-0) struck out two and did not allow a baserunner in a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win Saturday against the Yankees.

Feyereisen entered with the game tied and generated two swinging strikeouts. He has not allowed an earned run across 22 innings and has a 25:4 K:BB on the season. Despite his dominance, Feyereisen has not earned a save this season and doesn't appear to be in the mix for the closer role even with Andrew Kittredge (back) sidelined.

Leclerc (elbow) allowed two hits and struck one over 1.1 scoreless innings for Double-A Frisco on Saturday.

Leclerc is taking his first steps back to the majors after undergoing Tommy John surgery in March of 2021. He's made two rehab appearances, giving up a run on four hits while striking out three over 2.1 innings. The earliest he's eligible to return is June 6, per Sara Wexler of MLB.com.

Logue (2-4) took the loss Saturday, giving up four runs on seven hits and a walk over 2.1 innings as the A's were routed 11-4 by the Rangers. He struck out one.

After tossing two scoreless frames, Logue couldn't escape the third as back-to-back homers by Corey Seager and Adolis Garcia helped chase the lefty from the game. Logue has failed to complete five innings in each of his last three starts, getting stuck with the loss in all three, and the 26-year-old rookie now sports a 5.47 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB through 24.2 innings on the year.
