Zimmermann didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Yankees, giving up four runs on four solo home runs over 6.1 innings. He allowed six hits in total and struck out five without walking a batter.

The southpaw filled up the zone as 65 of his 85 pitches went for strikes, but his command wasn't sharp enough to avoid a lot of hard contact. After serving up only one homer through his first six starts and 30.1 innings this season, Zimmermann has been tagged for seven long balls in his last three outings. He'll carry a 3.78 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 39:10 K:BB through 47.2 frames into his next start.

Jimenez saved Tuesday's 7-5 win against the Mariners, allowing one walk while striking out two in the ninth inning.

Jimenez retired the first two Mariners in the ninth inning before walking Adam Frazier on four pitches, but he was able to strike out Julio Rodriguez to end the game. The 28-year-old rookie only tossed seven of 14 pitches for strikes, but an impressive four were of the swinging variety as Jimenez has now recorded 19 strikeouts in 17.2 innings and has converted all of his save chances.

Clarke (1-1) allowed three runs on three hits and struck out one in two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss Tuesday versus the Diamondbacks.

Clarke allowed two inherited runners to score on a Jordan Luplow three-run home run, then surrendered a two-run blast to Pavin Smith two batters later. What started off as a good season has quickly fallen apart for Clarke, who has allowed a stunning 12 runs (10 earned) in his last five outings. He's seen his ratios balloon to a 6.46 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with a 12:0 K:BB, three holds, a save and a pair of blown saves in 17 appearances.

Morgan struck out two in a perfect inning in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Astros.

Morgan has often been tasked to get more than three outings in a bulk-relief role this season. He's given up runs in four of his nine appearances, but he's pitched to a solid 3.18 ERA, 0.65 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB across 17 innings. Limiting walks and keeping the ball in the yard -- he's allowed just two home runs -- have been contributing factors in his success, but he's still working in mostly low-leverage situations.

Iglesias pitched one-third inning Tuesday, allowing one hit while striking out a batter on his way to a save in the 5-3 win over the Rangers.

After Aaron Loup surrendered a solo homer and walked a batter with two outs in the ninth, Iglesias was called upon to get the Angels to the finish line with a 5-2 lead. The closer allowed an RBI double to Adolis Garcia, but he ultimately struck out Jonah Heim to end the contest. It was the right-hander's 11th save of the year in 12 opportunities and he has now produced three consecutive appearances without allowing an earned run. On the season, Iglesias owns a 3.94 ERA and 0.88 WHIP with 23 punchouts over 16 innings in 19 appearances.

Heasley didn't factor into the decision during Tuesday's 8-6 loss to Arizona, allowing three runs on four hits and six walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Heasley surrendered one run apiece in the first, second and fourth innings and was in line for the win until Arizona put up five runs in the bottom of the sixth. The 25-year-old was helped by two double plays and was able to strand four runners to offset putting 10 runners on base, though Heasley has now walked an alarming 12 batters 13.1 innings across three starts. If he sticks in the rotation, Heasley will likely take the mound early next week against Cleveland.

Pivetta (3-4) earned the win Tuesday after he tossed six innings, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five against the White Sox.

Pivetta held the White Sox off the board over the first three innings before Jose Abreu launched a two-run homer in the fourth frame. He allowed another run in the fifth before pitching a scoreless sixth inning to end his outing. Pivetta has now registered four consecutive quality starts, posting a 1.61 ERA and 0.68 WHIP with 25 strikeouts over 28 innings in those outings. The 29-year-old has won three straight starts and he'll look to make it four when he toes the rubber next, which tentatively lines up to be Sunday versus the Orioles.

Duran pitched a scoreless ninth inning on his way to a save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Tigers. He hit a batter and allowed a base knock.

With Emilio Pagan unavailable after working two innings Monday, Duran was called upon in the ninth Tuesday. He allowed a single to Miguel Cabrera to open the frame and hit Jeimer Candelario with one out in the inning, but he was able to get Willi Castro to ground into a double play to end the game. The 24-year-old has now converted all four of his save opportunities this year while also snagging four holds. Duran has posted a 2.53 ERA and 0.75 WHIP with 31 punchouts over 21.1 innings in 16 appearances in 2022.

Fulmer struck out all three batters he faced in Tuesday's loss to the Twins.

Fulmer hadn't appeared in a game since Wednesday, as the Tigers are just 1-5 in their past six contests, so they haven't turned over too many leads to their more high-leverage relievers. The righty didn't show any rust, as he made quick work of the Twins in the seventh inning. Fulmer now has 14 strikeouts across 16.1 innings this season to go with a 3.31 ERA.

Brieske (0-4) allowed two runs on six hits across four innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Twins. He walked one and struck out three.

Brieske pitched OK, though he needed 90 pitches to get through four innings, so he wasn't able to go very deep in the contest. He was also outdueled by Sonny Gray, who tossed seven shutout innings, and the Tigers fell 2-0 with just five hits as a team. Brieske at least bounced back after allowing two long balls and six runs in his last start, but his first MLB win remains elusive. The rookie will carry a 5.04 ERA into his next start, which tentatively lines up for Sunday against the Guardians.
