Barnes (6-4) allowed two runs on one hit and one walk while striking out one to take the loss Sunday against the Blue Jays.

For the second time in the series against the Blue Jays, Barnes was on the mound for a gut-punch loss. He served up a walkoff home run to Marcus Semien in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, then ex-UConn teammate George Springer took him deep for a three-run shot in the eighth inning Sunday to wipe out all the good work Boston's offense did in a 9-8 loss. The Red Sox are coming apart at the seams right now, who lost of eight of 10 on a road trip, including six of seven to division rivals Toronto and Tampa Bay.

Barlow (4-3) earned the win Sunday versus St. Louis. He allowed two hits and struck out one without allowing a run in two-thirds of an inning.

Barlow wasn't great in this appearance, but all three runs that crossed the plate on his watch were inherited runners from Greg Holland. When Kansas City regained the lead after a rain delay in the ninth inning, Barlow ended up in line for the win. Through 52.2 innings, he's posted a 2.73 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 69:21 K:BB while adding six saves, 14 holds and three blown saves. The right-hander is likely to continue seeing high-leverage work despite allowing multiple baserunners in three of his last five appearances.

Tate allowed two runs on a hit and a walk with one strikeout in two-thirds of an inning versus Tampa Bay on Sunday. He was charged with a blown save.

The right-hander entered the game in a difficult spot with one out and the bases loaded after a terrible appearance from Paul Fry. Tate then gave up a sacrifice fly, a walk and a grand slam to Brett Phillips, although only two runs were charged to Tate. The 27-year-old is expected to see more high-leverage outings over the last two months of the season, but he's now given up six runs over his last 1.2 innings across three appearances. His ERA is up to 4.82 with a 1.31 WHIP and 41:19 K:BB with two saves and five holds in 46.2 innings overall.

Trivino fired a scoreless ninth inning, walking one and striking out one to earn the save in the win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Trivino hasn't allowed any earned runs in his last five appearances and has surrendered only two runs in his last 14.1 innings. The 29-year-old hasn't blown a save since May 31, and he's 18-for-20 in save opportunities this year. He carries a 1.88 ERA and 1.16 WHIP with 47 strikeouts in 52.2 innings.

Chargois (2-0) allowed two hits and a walk in 1.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Orioles on Sunday.

Chargois has made four relief appearances since he was traded from the Mariners to the Rays, and he's tossed 4.1 scoreless innings to begin his time with his new club. The right-hander earned a hold in his last outing, and he was rewarded with his first win since June 9 in Sunday's appearance. Chargois now has a 2.62 ERA and 0.99 WHIP in 34.1 innings across 35 relief appearances in 2021.

Lovelady worked a perfect ninth inning Sunday, striking out two batters and earning a save over the Cardinals.

Lovelady had seen only one save chance in his career prior to Sunday's outing, a blown opportunity back in 2019. He quickly rolled through the ninth inning, striking out Tommy Edman and Paul DeJong on the way to his first career save. The 26-year-old southpaw owns a 4.50 ERA through 12 innings this season.

Lopez allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five in six innings in Sunday's loss to the Rays. He didn't factor into the decision.

Lopez got plenty of run support from the Orioles in Sunday's matchup and appeared to be heading toward his second straight win, but he was forced to settle for the no-decision after Baltimore's bullpen gave up seven runs across the seventh and eighth innings. The right-hander posted a 7.94 ERA and 2.03 WHIP in 11.1 innings during his first three starts after the All-Star break, but he's allowed just three runs in 12 innings across his last two outings. Lopez tentatively lines up to start on the road against Boston on Saturday.

Colome struck out one batter in a perfect ninth inning and earned a save over the Astros on Sunday.

Colome has converted all three save opportunities since Taylor Rogers (finger) was placed on the injured list at the end of July. He's riding a 4.1-inning scoreless streak, lowering his season ERA to 4.32 through 41.2 innings. He should continue getting most of the save chances as long as Rogers is out.

Luetge (4-2) allowed two unearned runs on two hits and a walk while striking out two in one inning to take the loss against the Mariners on Sunday.

Luetge was somewhat unlucky in his outing, as Abraham Toro reached on a fielding error to lead off the inning before he gave up a walk and a double. However, the runs that came across during the inning were the only two runs of the game, so the southpaw was forced to settle for his first loss since June 30. Luetge hasn't allowed any earned runs in 10.2 innings across his last nine outings, and he's posted a 2-1 record during that time.

Sewald (7-3) struck out four in 1.2 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Yankees on Sunday.

Sewald took the loss in his last outing when he allowed three runs in two innings, but he returned to form Sunday. The right-hander has now held the opposition scoreless in seven of his last eight appearances, and he's picked up two wins, a save and two holds during that time.
