Andriese (hamstring) tossed a scoreless sixth inning Sunday in his first rehab appearance for Triple-A Worcester, scattering two hits while striking out one.

Andriese is expected to remain with Worcester and make at least one or two more rehab appearances before being activated from the 10-day injured list. Before being shut down with the hamstring issue in early July, Andriese compiled a 6.03 ERA and 1.77 WHIP across 37.1 innings out of the Boston bullpen this season.

Howard is scheduled to make his second start with the Rangers on Wednesday in Seattle, Justice delos Santos of MLB.com reports.

Howard tossed 2.1 innings in his Texas debut Aug. 5 against the Angels, surrendering three runs on three hits and two walks to take a loss. As was often the case during his time with the Phillies this season, Howard effectively worked as a piggyback starter in his first outing with his new team, as Taylor Hearn covered four innings in long relief behind him. The Rangers could opt for the tandem-starter approach again Wednesday, which would make Howard less likely than Hearn to factor into any decision.

Montero was removed from Sunday's loss to the Twins due to shoulder soreness, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Montero left the game with a trainer in the top of the eighth inning after throwing 24 pitches. Whether the issue requires a trip to the injured list remains to be seen, but the right-hander will be evaluated Monday during the Astros' scheduled day off.

Montero exited Sunday's game against the Twins in the top of the eighth inning with an apparent injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Montero threw 24 pitches to begin his outing and retired the first two batters he faced. However, he apparently felt something and exited the game following a brief visit with trainers. The nature and severity of the right-hander's injury aren't yet known.

Hentges will start Monday's game against the Reds, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.

Hentges will make his ninth start of the season with Cleveland employing a bullpen game. The left-hander made his last start July 7 and covered 4.1 innings, but he's unlikely to pitch that deep Monday given he's covered single frames in each of his past two outings.

Wantz was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Wantz was promoted from Triple-A on Friday and will return there without making an appearance for the big-league club. The right-hander has spent most of the season at Salt Lake, where he has a 3.10 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 28:7 K:BB over 29 innings.

Herget was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Herget had his contract selected by the Rangers early in the week and surrendered five runs (four earned) over four innings. The 27-year-old will return to Round Rock, where he has a 2.56 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 48:12 K:BB across 38.2 innings this season.

McHugh fired a scoreless ninth inning during which he allowed a hit and a walk and recorded two strikeouts in a win over the Orioles on Saturday.

The veteran right-hander picked up right where he left off before going on the injured list with arm fatigue, producing his 14th straight scoreless outing. McHugh now has multiple strikeouts in 11 of his last 12 appearances as well, pushing his career-best strikeout rate to 36.7 percent.

Misiewicz (3-4) was tagged with the loss and the blown save Saturday against the Yankees after allowing two unearned runs on one hit across one-third of an inning.

Misiewicz didn't have his best stuff Saturday but neither of the two runs he allowed was earned, meaning he extended his streak of games without allowing an earned run to five contests. The southpaw, who's already made 49 appearances on the season, has given up just one earned run across his last 10 games and owns an excellent 1.59 ERA since the beginning of July.

Romano (5-1) earned the win in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Red Sox. He tossed a scoreless inning, fanning two.

Romano pitched the seventh inning and kept the game scoreless with a sharp outing, as he needed only 14 pitches (eight strikes) to get the job done. The right-hander, who has gone 9-for-10 in save chances this season, should remain Toronto's main late-inning arm going forward.
