Andriese (2-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits in a third of an inning Saturday to take the loss in extra innings to the Athletics.

The Red Sox staked Andriese to a two-run lead in the top of the 12th inning, and he gave it all away in just 13 pitches during the bottom half of the frame. The right-hander got off to a brilliant start in April but has gone south since the beginning of May. He has a 7.99 ERA while permitting seven home runs over 23.2 innings in the last 16 games. The downturn could be attributed to usage -- Andriese has gone more than a week without pitching three times since the beginning of June -- as Boston has not needed its go-to multi-inning reliever often. Manager Alex Cora told Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com that Andriese is still needed.

Wilson allowed five runs on four hits and one walk without retiring a batter in Saturday's loss to the Mets.

The left-hander was called upon in the sixth inning with the Mets ahead by three runs. Wilson couldn't keep the game close, allowing three straight singles followed by a walk and a double before departing with the Yankees down 6-0. Both baserunners he passed on to Michael King soon came around to score, and Wilson was charged with five total runs in the outing. His season ERA jumped to an ugly 8.79 as a result, and he has given up at least one earned run in three of his past four appearances.

The Yankees reinstated Peralta (back) from the 10-day injured list and added him as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.

A back strain landed the lefty on the 10-day IL on June 26. His most recent appearance June 18 against the Athletics was a rough one, as he allowed three runs on three hits in 1.1 innings. It's unclear whether Peralta will rejoin the Yankees' 26-man roster or be sent to Triple-A following the doubleheader.

Jax (1-1) was tagged with the loss Saturday against the Royals after allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks across five innings, striking out three.

Jax made the first start of his big-league career but was unable to slow down Kansas City and was lit up. The right-hander at least managed to complete five frames, but other than that, there are very few positives to take out from this outing. He may return to a bullpen role going forward, as he's made all but one of his five big-league appearances this season as a reliever.

Barlow notched the save Saturday against Minnesota after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, giving up one hit and recording one strikeout.

Barlow had the task to defend a three-run lead in the top of the ninth inning and while he allowed Jorge Polanco to snatch a one-out single, he closed things out by striking out Nick Gordon and inducing Nelson Cruz to a groundout. Barlow has gone 4-for-5 in save chances this season and also has 11 holds, but perhaps the most important thing to note going forward is that he's been given the ball in each of the last two games where the Royals have needed a save. However, the Royals still seem to be deploying a committee approach to closing duties and that could continue to limit the upside of all the relievers involved.

Morgan (1-3) took the loss Saturday, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings as Cleveland was downed 3-2 by the Astros. He struck out three.

The rookie right-hander didn't pitch poorly, throwing 52 of 86 pitches for strikes, but solo shots by Carlos Correa and Abraham Toro in the fourth inning -- as well as little run support -- did him in. Morgan will need to find a way to keep the ball in the park if he's going to hang onto a spot in the rotation when bigger names like Shane Bieber (shoulder) and Zach Plesac (thumb) get healthy, as his impressive 22:4 K:BB through his first 21.1 big-league innings is masked by an 8.44 ERA and ghastly 3.38 HR/9.

Pressly struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his 14th save of the season in a 3-2 win over Cleveland.

The right-hander needed only 10 pitches (eight strikes) to breeze through the heart of Cleveland's order. Pressly has been absolutely filthy since the beginning of June, picking up two wins and converting all seven of his save chances while not allowing an earned run and racking up a 21:1 K:BB in 12 innings over that stretch.

Iglesias fired a perfect ninth inning while striking out two to earn the save in the win over the Orioles on Saturday.

Iglesias entered with a 4-1 lead and made quick work of the Orioles by retiring the side. He is nearly perfect over his last six games, with 15 strikeouts in eight scoreless innings. However, he allowed a run in four straight appearances before that. The 31-year-old has a 3.38 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP in 37.1 innings. In addition, he has a strong 14.0 K/9 and is 16-for-19 in save opportunities.

Lopez (2-11) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four across 4.2 innings, taking the loss to the Angels on Saturday.

Lopez lost his fifth game in a row Saturday after allowing at least four runs for the fourth time in his last five starts. He has struggled with his control, walking four batters in each of his last two starts. The 28-year-old has a rough 6.02 ERA and a 1.60 WHIP overall with 77 punchouts in 80.2 innings.

Zimmermann's (biceps) rehab has been pushed back another week or two, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

The Orioles announced in late June that Zimmermann would miss two or three more weeks, and his recovery will extend another week or two as a precautionary measure. A clear timetable for the southpaw's return to game action hasn't yet been established, but he'll likely be sidelined at least through the All-Star break.
