Paredes exited Thursday's game against the Red Sox with a trainer, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Paredes failed to record an out and issued two walks while also hitting a batter. It's unclear what the potential injury may be, or if it will cause Paredes to miss additional time.

The Rangers promoted Henriquez from High-A Hickory to Double-A Frisco on Thursday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic reports.

Henriquez will get a tougher challenge after he submitted a 3.75 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 24 innings over his five starts for Hickory. Signed for a modest sum of $10,000 out of the Dominican Republic in July 2017, the 20-year-old right-hander has provided an excellent return on investment for the Rangers.

King is slated to start Thursday's game against the Twins.

King will make a second straight turn through the rotation in place of Corey Kluber (shoulder) after he most recently took the hill June 4 against the Red Sox. In that outing, King made history by becoming the first pitcher from either side of the Yankees-Red Sox rivalry to throw an immaculate inning when he struck out the side on nine pitches in the bottom of the fourth. Despite the achievement, King's final line was somewhat underwhelming, as he finished the game with four runs allowed on six hits while striking out five over 5.1 innings in a no-decision. Still, the 26-year-old showed enough to get another look in a starting role while Kluber remains shut down through the All-Star break.

Valdez has not posted a save or hold in his last 10 outings.

Valdez opened the year as Baltimore's closer, but those duties have more recently gone to Paul Fry. Instead, Valdez has seen lower-leverage work. The change in role hasn't gone very well -- since his last save May 10, the right-hander has an 11.00 ERA, 2.44 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB in nine innings. He pitched a scoreless inning in Wednesday's 14-1 loss to the Mets, but without any promise of save chances, he carries little fantasy appeal.

Tate allowed a hit and struck out one over one inning in Wednesday's 14-1 loss to the Mets.

Starter Matt Harvey didn't have it Wednesday, and Tate was called upon to pick up an inning in the lopsided loss. The 27-year-old had given up eight runs across his previous 10.1 innings, so it's progress that he was able to keep runs off the board this time out. He's amassed a 4.82 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB in 18.2 innings overall. Tate has added three holds and a 0-3 record in 16 outings.

Alexander is scheduled to start Thursday's game against the Mariners in what's expected to be a bullpen day for the Tigers, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Alexander previously led off a bullpen game when Detroit last needed a fifth starter June 1 in Milwaukee. In that outing, the lefty gave up a run and recorded all three of his outs via strikeout before turning the game over to the bullpen, but Detroit may ask Alexander to work a little deeper into Thursday's contest. Derek Holland (shoulder) was moved to injured list Thursday and Jose Cisnero, Kyle Funkhouser and Daniel Norris are unlikely to be available due to their recent usage, but Alexander is fairly well rested after having not pitched since Friday.

The Tigers recalled Lange from Triple-A Toledo on Thursday.

Derek Holland (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. With Detroit turning to Tyler Alexander to lead off a bullpen game in Thursday's series finale with the Mariners, Lange could get a chance to cover an inning or two in relief behind the lefty. Lange has previously made 15 appearances out of the Detroit bullpen this season, posting a 7.43 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB in 13.1 innings.

Bummer (0-4) allowed three runs on two hits, a walk and a wild pitch to pick up the loss against the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Bummer entered a clean eighth inning after Lance Lynn cruised through seven innings of one-run ball. After getting the first out, Bummer struck out Riley Adams on a pitch in a dirt that got by catcher Yasmani Grandal. That was followed by an infield hit, a single and a botched double play, and the White Sox were down 4-2. The right-hander has given up runs in six of his last nine outings, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) over 7.2 innings.

Mejia (1-1) allowed four earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss to the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Mejia surrendered his first four runs of the year after posting eight scoreless innings prior this season. He was only able to record two outs in the first frame before being relieved after allowing five men to reach safely. The 24-year-old only has just 8.2 MLB innings under his belt, but he has been asked to start recently with injuries to the rotation. Following Wednesday's outing, he now sports a 4.15 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Wilson (hamstring) is responding to treatment and "doing really well," MLB.com reports.

Wilson has been on the injured list since May 29, but he appears to be making progress from the right hamstring issue that Boone said had been nagging the reliever for "a few weeks." It's not yet clear when Wilson could return to the Yankees' bullpen.
