Junis made a precautionary exit from Wednesday's game against the Indians after being hit by a line drive between the biceps and triceps of his right arm, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The liner was 106.9 mph off the bat, leaving the right-hander minimal time to react. Junis allowed two runs on four hits with one strikeout and zero walks over four innings before leaving the contest. The 27-year-old's status for the next turn through the rotation should receive more clarity as he continues to be evaluated.

Yarbrough (groin) will throw a bullpen session Friday, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Yarbrough landed on the 10-day injured list with a left groin issue Saturday, and he felt good after playing catch Monday. He'll progress in his throwing program by throwing a bullpen session Friday, after which a better timetable for his return could be established.

Lopez joined the rotation last weekend, stepping in as a replacement for Wade LeBlanc (elbow). He worked 4.2 innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three. He was limited to 63 pitches in that outing, but he should push up to 75-to-85-pitch range in his second start.

Norris tossed 2.1 innings in relief in Tuesday's 12-1 win over the Brewers, giving up a run on four hits while striking out five.

As per usual, starter Michael Fulmer was limited to three innings in his start, so Norris came on in relief to piggyback him. While he needed 61 pitches to record his seven outs, Norris overwhelmed Milwaukee's hitters, with his lone mistake coming when Christian Yelich took him deep for a solo home run. Norris has taken well to a multi-inning role out of the Detroit bullpen, posting a 1.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 17:1 K:BB across 15.2 innings over his last six appearances.

Weber allowed two runs on four hits and struck out two over four innings in a no-decision against the Braves on Tuesday.

Weber, who began the abbreviated season as a member of the rotation, returned to start Tuesday after poor results early on. Boston's rotation is thin, so Weber could get more starts before the end of the season. Weber has a 5.79 ERA (6.75 FIP) over 28 innings.

Chapman struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his first save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Rays.

In his fourth appearance since coming off the COVID-19 list, Chapman needed only 13 pitches (eight strikes) to shut down Tampa. He did sail a fastball over Mike Brosseau's head, re-igniting the long-simmering tensions between the teams and potentially setting the stage for a volatile series finale Wednesday, but Chapman only received a warning and shouldn't face any additional discipline.
