Kay (1-0) pitched 3.1 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out three to earn the win versus the Red Sox on Saturday.

Kay recorded the last out of the fourth inning and was able to keep it clean long enough for the Blue Jays to tie the game in the seventh. They took the lead in the top of the eighth to make Kay the pitcher of record. The 25-year-old has a 1.13 ERA and 0.75 WHIP with eight strikeouts across eight innings this season.

Montero worked a perfect ninth inning Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 2-0 win over the Angels.

The Rangers wasted no time plugging Montero into their vacant closer spot after he came off the injured list Friday, and the right-hander has now picked up saves on consecutive nights. As long as he can stay healthy, Montero should provide some stability in the ninth as he looks to build on his comeback performance in 2019.

Bass pitched a perfect ninth inning with one strikeout to earn the save in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Red Sox.

Bass whiffed Christian Vazquez before getting flyouts from Kevin Pillar and Jackie Bradley to finish the inning on a mere eight pitches. The 32-year-old Bass has yet to allow a run in 6.1 innings this year, with just two hits and a walk against him so far. Expect the right-hander to continue in the closer role while Ken Giles (forearm) is out.

King (0-1) took the loss in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader in Tampa Bay after allowing three runs on one hit and five walks over 3.2 innings. He had four strikeouts.

The 25-year-old entered Saturday with a 6:0 K:BB through seven innings this season, but he never showed much command, throwing only 36 of his 70 pitches for strikes. King has a 7.59 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 10.2 innings this season and should return to his role as a long reliever.

Castro walked one and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning to record his first save of the season in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Nationals.

Cole Sulser worked the eighth inning and picked up the hold, while Mychal Givens didn't pitch at all, adding yet another wrinkle to manager Brandon Hyde's late-inning bullpen management. Castro has certainly earned a high-leverage role, posting a 0.00 ERA and 10:2 K:BB through his first 7.1 innings on the year, so this may not be the last time he gets the call in the ninth for the O's.

Henriks recorded the save Saturday against the Astros after allowing one run on two hits during the ninth inning. He had one strikeout and zero walks.

Kyle Tucker hit a leadoff double and came around to score, but Hendriks was otherwise able to close things out versus Houston. The right-hander has converted five of six save opportunities and carries a 2.16 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 12:2 K:BB through 8.1 innings.

Foster threw a pair of scoreless innings to open Saturday's loss against Cleveland, striking out three and walking one while allowing zero hits.

Foster faced the minimum in his two frames, erasing Carlos Santana's second-inning leadoff walk with a lineout double play. He hasn't allowed a run in any of his four appearances this year.

Heller was recalled from the Yankees' alternate training site between the two games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Rays.

Heller will give the Yankees some added bullpen depth in the nightcap. Thairo Estrada was optioned in a corresponding move.

Harvey (elbow) has gotten through the start of his throwing progression without issues but isn't expected to return for at least another three weeks, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Harvey seemed to have the potential to throw high-leverage innings for the Orioles this season, but there's always doubt about his ability to throw any innings at all, as he's battled a long list of injuries over his professional career. His latest issue, elbow soreness, popped up in the final week of summer camp and will wind up keeping him sidelined for over a month. He has the talent to pick up saves down the stretch this season, but he'll have to prove that he's both healthy and effective before being given that opportunity.

Ramirez allowed three earned runs on three hits and four walks over two innings in a loss to the Rockies on Friday. He struck out four.

The right-hander was logging his first action since Sunday and only his fourth appearance of the season overall, and he saw his unblemished ERA take quite the hit. Ramirez had opened the campaign with five scoreless innings, proving to be a valuable multi-inning arm for manager Scott Servais after a rough Cactus League stint this spring. With his ability to work multiple frames when necessary, Ramirez should continue to see fairly steady work during the balance of the season.
