The Blue Jays promoted Pearson from Double-A New Hampshire to Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Carlos Collazo of Baseball America reports.

The 22-year-old flamethrower will make the move to the International League after posting a 2.59 ERA and 69:21 K:BB across 62.2 innings with New Hampshire following his promotion from High-A Dunedin in May. If he impresses in his initial late-season action at Triple-A, Pearson could get a token chance to compete for a rotation spot with the big club next spring, though it's more likely than not that he'll be headed back to Buffalo to begin the 2020 campaign.

Blach is listed as the Orioles' starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Blach was called up from Triple-A Norfolk when a sixth rotation member was needed for the Orioles' Aug. 12 doubleheader with the Yankees. Taking the hill in the second game of the twin bill in his Baltimore debut, Blach lasted just four innings, giving up seven runs on seven hits and three walks. That ugly showing apparently won't disqualify him from earning another chance to lock down a rotation spot, though he may need to demonstrate improvement Sunday to earn any future turns.

Santiago allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision against the Angels on Saturday. He struck out four batters in the 6-5 loss.

Santiago was victimized by solo shots from Brian Goodwin and Justin Upton in this contest. The southpaw didn't last long enough to be in line for the win, and Evan Marshall ended up blowing the lead in the seventh inning anyway. In 17.1 innings between the Mets and the White Sox this year, Santiago has a 6.23 ERA and 15:10 K:BB. He is likely to serve out of the bullpen moving forward.

Robles pitched a perfect ninth inning Saturday, striking out one to earn his 18th save in a 6-5 win over the White Sox.

Robles had given up a single run in both of his last two appearances, but he kept things clean Saturday to earn the save. He now has a 2.93 ERA and 54:13 K:BB across 55.1 innings this season.

Yarbrough struck out 10 batters while allowing zero runs on three hits with no walks across 6.1 during a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday.

While he didn't go as deep into the game, Yarbrough was arguably even better in this outing than his last one, extending his scoreless streak to 15 innings. His 10 strikeouts were a season high, and Yarbrough has allowed one earned run in his last 19.2 frames (0.47 ERA). He remains 11-3, but his other numbers improved Saturday -- 3.34 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 88 strikeouts in 105 innings this season. Yarbrough will look to extend his scoreless streak in Baltimore on Thursday.

Jurado (6-9) allowed eight runs (two earned) off seven hits and two walks over two innings as he was charged with the loss Saturday against the Twins.

The 23-year-old's second-half woes continued, as Jurado has now allowed 35 runs (28 earned) with a 1.66 WHIP over 32.2 innings in his seven starts since the All-Star break. The right-hander now carries a 5.38 ERA with 72 strikeouts this season. Jurado will look to turn things around Thursday on the road against the White Sox.

Junis (8-11) took the loss Saturday as the Royals fell 4-1 to the Mets. He struck out six and allowed three runs on seven hits and a walk over 6.1 innings.

The right-hander delivered his third straight quality start and actually kept pace with Jacob deGrom through six innings, but the Mets finally took the lead on Junis in the seventh while only getting one ball out of the infield. Junis now sports a 3.45 ERA and 44:11 K:BB over 44.1 innings since the All-Star break, and he'll look to get back in the win column Friday in Cleveland.

Alcala will be promoted to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Alcala carries a 5.97 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP with Double-A Pensacola this year, but he's settled down recently, amassing a 2.00 ERA in nine innings over his last five appearances. The 24-year-old will get his first chance to pitch in Triple-A in his career.

Fairbanks was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 25-year-old allowed one earned run off two hits in one inning Friday but will ultimately return to Triple-A for the time being. Trevor Richards was activated off the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move.

Graterol will be promoted to Triple-A Rochester on Sunday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

The 20-year-old has been dominant at the Double-A level this season with a 1.78 ERA and a 49:21 K:BB in 50.2 innings. He'll get the chance to work against some more developed hitters at the Triple-A level, but this could also be a sign that Minnesota may call him up in September to help their bullpen.
