Blach will start Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Baltimore will have to make a roster move in between the two games to officially add Blach to the roster. He has a 5.98 ERA in the minors this year, which, coupled with the matchup, makes him a very unappealing fantasy option.

Kay allowed one unearned run on one hit and five walks over six innings while striking out eight for Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.

The 24-year-old southpaw is still fighting his control since being part of the Marcus Stroman trade -- he's issued 11 free passes in 15.2 innings over his first three starts for Buffalo -- but Kay flashed his upside in this one, with the eight whiffs being the most he's racked up since he struck out nine batters in his final Double-A outing June 8. If Kay can build on this performance down the stretch, he could head into next spring with a shot at winning a rotation spot for Toronto.

Betances (lat) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session Monday and will throw a 25-pitch bullpen session Thursday, Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports reports.

He was surprised at how well the 20-pitch session went. Betances threw 17 fastballs and three curveballs and said the ball was coming out good, per Sweeny Murti of Sports Radio 66 WFAN. This was his first bullpen session in over two months. He could be activated in September.

Phillips was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk prior to Monday's doubleheader against the Yankees.

He has a 7.85 ERA in 17 relief appearances with the big club. His 27 strikeouts in 18.1 innings are impressive, but he has also walked 15 in that span.

Yacabonis was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk to serve as the 26th man for Monday's doubleheader against the Yankees.

He is a candidate to start the second game of the twin bill, along with Tom Eshelman and maybe Ty Blach, but that will likely amount to a bullpen game regardless of who starts the game. Yacabonis has a 7.04 ERA as a starter and a 6.96 ERA as a reliever this year in the majors.

Robles (4-0) earned the win against Boston on Sunday, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings and giving up one hit while striking out two.

Robles retired Xander Bogaerts for the final out of the ninth inning to send the game into extra frames, then shut down the Red Sox in the 10th after Los Angeles scored the go-ahead run in the top of the inning. Robles has not had a save opportunity since July 24 but remains firmly entrenched as the Angels' closer, posting a 2.73 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 51:13 K:BB over 52.2 innings while converting 16 of 18 save chances this season.

Payano will make his next start Thursday against the Twins, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Payano has struggled while part of the Rangers' rotation, pitching to a 4.97 ERA and 2.132 WHIP over three starts. In his previous start Saturday, he lasted just three innings with nine of the 17 batters he faced reaching base. He'll get at least two more outings as a starter -- Thursday's start and as part of a doubleheader Aug. 20 against the Angels. The Rangers are expected to bring up left-hander Joe Palumbo following his next start at Triple-A Nashville.

Pruitt will serve as the primary pitcher Monday against the Padres behind opener Diego Castillo, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Pruitt will come into the outing looking to build on a successful return to the majors, which saw him fire two scoreless frames versus the Blue Jays last Monday. The 29-year-old right-hander has scuffled overall at the big-league level this season, having generated a 5.16 ERA and 1.41 WHIP across 22.2 innings.

Rogers (2-3) allowed a grand slam while striking out one batter in one-third of an inning as he took the loss to Cleveland on Sunday.

The lefty entered a tie game in the 10th inning and put three straight runners on base before Carlos Santana smashed a game-winning grand slam. The rough outing inflated Rogers' ERA from 2.03 to 2.68, though his 68:10 K:BB still looks terrific.

Hand (5-3) blew the save, allowing two runs on four hits in one inning Sunday, blowing the save, but was later awarded the win over Minnesota.

It was Hand's third blown save, making him 29-for-32 in save chances this season. Fortunately, Carlos Santana swatted a game-winning grand slam in the 10th frame to erase Hand's mistake. The 29-year-old still owns a solid 2.61 ERA.
