Littell was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Friday.

Littell has made seven starts and one relief appearance for Rochester this season, recording a 4.19 ERA. He appears to be up as a reliever for now, with Austin Adams designated for assignment as the corresponding move.

De Leon (elbow) allowed a hit and two walks over 2.2 scoreless innings in Triple-A Durham's win over Norfolk on Tuesday in his second rehab start with the Bulls. He struck out two.

De Leon was impressive for the second time in as many starts at the Triple-A level, and he's now logged 5.2 scoreless frames with the Bulls in his pair of rehab outings. De Leon hit 52 pitches in Tuesday's appearance, upping his overall count by four over his first trip to the mound with Durham.

Garcia (back) began a rehab assignment with High-A Inland Empire on Thursday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports. He struck out the side in a scoreless frame.

Garcia has been out since May 13 with a lumbar spine muscle spasm. Given the relatively short length of his absence, he's unlikely to require too many rehab innings, though the Angels haven't announced a target date for his return.

Martin (1-1) took the loss against the White Sox on Thursday, throwing just 3.1 innings while surrendering four runs (three earned) on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts.

It was Martin's third and shortest major-league start. The right-hander looked strong through the first two frames but soon fell apart in the third, falling victim to a trio of hits, including two doubles and a walk. He then committed a costly throwing error to hand the White Sox a 3-0 lead. Martin was finally pulled in the fourth with one out after allowing a solo home run to Eloy Jimenez and a single to Yolmer Sanchez, but ultimately the Astros could not recover as they fell victim to Lucas Giolito's complete-game shutout. The 23-year-old now holds a 4.97 ERA and 1.58 WHIP as he gears up to face the Cubs at Minute Maid Park on Tuesday.

Yarbrough (3-1) picked up the win Thursday by limiting the Indians to two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four through 7.1 innings of work.

Yarbrough looked sharp in first start of the season after getting called up from Triple-A Durham, tossing a career-high 7.1 frames in the 7-2 victory. The left-hander scattered four hits with one walk and four strikeouts. In six appearances for the Rays this year, Yarbrough holds a 6.38 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 18:5 K:BB, though he posted a solid 2.14 ERA through 21 innings in Durham. He'll likely take the mound again Tuesday for a home matchup against the Blue Jays.

Weber (1-0) tossed six one-run innings while earning the win Thursday against the Blue Jays, allowing three hits with four strikeouts and no walks.

Weber seemed to keep the home team off balance during much of his outing as he drew 21 called strikes. The lone damaging blow against him came on a third-inning rally, but he escaped and easily came away with a quality start. Weber seems poised to make at least one more start, which should come next week against Cleveland.

Green has been confirmed as the opener for Friday's game in Kansas City, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.

He has not recorded more than five outs in an appearance since April 3, so Green won't be out there for long. Luis Cessa and Nestor Cortes seem like the most likely options to serve as the primary pitcher behind Green, as David Hale threw four innings in Tuesday's game.

Giles (wrist) tossed a scoreless inning in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Red Sox. He surrendered a base hit and recorded a strikeout in the 16-pitch appearance.

Giles wasn't available for the series opener Monday due to a sore right wrist, but the Jays' willingness to use him in the 10th inning of a tied ballgame Wednesday implies that his health is no longer a concern. With a 1.31 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 32:5 K:BB in 20.2 innings, Giles has performed about as well as his backers could have hoped, but the 20-30 Jays' losing ways have presented him with just 11 save chances.

Cordero was designated for assignment Thursday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

The Blue Jays decided to claim Zac Rosscup off waivers from the Mariners, so Cordero was cast off the 40-man roster less than two weeks after being claimed by Toronto. He will be exposed to waivers once again.

Yarbrough was recalled from Triple-A Durham and will start Thursday's game against the Indians, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Yarbrough was expected to come up to pitch in this game, but he was expected to be used behind an opener, which will not be the case. Yarbrough logged a 2.14 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 30:3 K:BB in 21 innings across four starts since being demoted to Triple-A. The Rays will likely look to limit him to two times through the order, but he threw six innings (80 pitches) in his last start for the Bulls, so he might go deep enough to qualify for the win. It is unclear whether Yarbrough will remain in the rotation without an opener going forward.
