Ryne Stanek RP | STL
Rays' Ryne Stanek: Impressive in Saturday's spot start
Stanek fired 1.2 scoreless innings in a win over the Orioles on Saturday, recording three strikeouts.
The right-handed fireballer was highly efficient during his time on the mound, recording five outs on just 21 pitches. Stanek was yet the latest reliever to open a game for the Rays, who continue to experiment with different combinations out of both necessity and innovation. Factoring in Saturday's production, Stanek hasn't allowed an earned run in four straight appearances, and he now has an impressive 11 strikeouts over 6.2 innings across seven outings overall.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Allows run, picks up save
Kimbrel was touched for a solo home run but picked up his 16th save of the season in Saturday's 8-6 win over Atlanta.
Kimbrel didn't register a strikeout for the sixth time in 24 outings, but he had pitched four of the last five games, so that may have played a role. With all that recent use, Kimbrel may not be available for Sunday's series finale.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Remains in rotation
Manager Alex Cora said Pomeranz will make his next start in Houston, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.
Whether Pomeranz was going to remain in the rotation needed to be addressed after the left-hander recorded just 10 outs Saturday. He's allowed 12 runs in 11.1 innings over his past three starts and has a 6.75 ERA through seven starts overall. "He struggled against lefties, and it wasn't a great day for him, but we trust this guy. He was in the same spot last year, all of a sudden he turned it around. He'll go to Houston Thursday and make adjustments the next few days and see if it works out," said Cora. Pomeranz's velocity has been down this season, with the pitcher struggling to reach 90 mph after living at 92 mph in 2017. "It's clearly something that I need to figure out mechanically," he said. "Something I need to start doing correctly to get that jump back in velocity."

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Rangers' Matt Moore: Throws bullpen Saturday
Moore (knee) threw a bullpen session Saturday, and the Rangers are waiting to see how the left-hander responds before setting their rotation for their upcoming four-game series against Seattle, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
If Moore responds with no problems, then he could pitch Tuesday, the day he's eligible to come off the disabled, although manager Jeff Banister is considering giving Austin Bibens-Dirkx a second start so that all starters get an extra day of rest.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Mariners' Alex Colome: Will be available Sunday
Colome will be in uniform and available for Sunday's game against the Twins, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
The 29-year-old reliever is expected to primarily be utilized as a hard-throwing, right-handed setup man to closer Edwin Diaz. However, with an extensive track record as a ninth-inning option that includes 95 saves over the last two-plus seasons, Colome should certainly have occasional opportunities to close out victories. In fact, manager Scott Servais said Colome would serve as the closer Sunday should a save situation arise due to Diaz not being available after pitching four of the last five days, per Greg Johns of MLB.com.

Carlos Ramirez RP | CHC
Athletics' Carlos Ramirez: Summoned from minors Saturday
Ramirez was called up from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
The 27-year-old right-hander was brought up to help offset the placement of Santiago Casilla on the disabled list due to a right shoulder strain. Ramirez had just been claimed off waivers by the Athletics on May 20 after being let go by the Blue Jays, and he'd fired two scoreless innings in his only appearance for the Sounds prior to his promotion. Ramirez also logged two big-league appearances this season while with Toronto, allowing one earned run on a hit and five walks while also recording three strikeouts across 2.2 innings.

Hector Santiago RP | SEA
White Sox's Hector Santiago: Earns win Saturday
Santiago (1-2) allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out five across five innings to earn the win Saturday against the Tigers.
Santiago allowed eight runners to reach base, including four extra-base hits, but he managed to work his way out of jams with timely strikeouts and help from his defense. He has worked as both a starter and reliever this season but has had limited success as a member of the rotation. There are several indicators suggesting that he is best served in a bullpen role, most notably his OPS allowed by time through the order. He has allowed hitters a .743 OPS the first time he has worked through a lineup, only to see that number balloon to 1.023 and .974 respectively his second and third times.

Jaime Barria RP | CLE
Angels' Jaime Barria: Picks up win over Yankees on Saturday
Barria (4-1) struck out four and recorded the win in Saturday's 11-4 victory over the Yankees, allowing four runs on six hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over five innings.
As many pitchers have before him, the rookie had trouble keeping the ball in Yankee Stadium, but Mike Trout and the Angels' bats backed Barria with more than enough offense to compensate. The club doesn't get another off day until June 7, so for now the right-hander should be able to get off the shuttle to and from Triple-A Salt Lake and stick in the majors for a bit. He'll take a 2.97 ERA into his next outing Friday at home against the Rangers.

Daniel Mengden RP | KC
Athletics' Daniel Mengden: Extends scoreless streak with two-hit shutout
Mengden (5-4) tossed a two-hit shutout Saturday against the Diamondbacks en route to his fifth win of the season. He struck out five and issued zero walks.
The mustachioed marvel continued his tour of dominance, as he has now given up four earned runs over his last 33.2 innings (1.07 ERA), including a current 17-inning scoreless streak. Mengden induced 13 groundballs in this one, which has been a big part of his success over this stretch. With only 43 strikeouts in 66.1 innings this season, projection systems will be anticipating quite a bit of regression. However, he would have to regress in a massive way to not end up being a draft-day bargain for his owners. He will look to extend his scoreless streak Thursday against the Rays.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Shelled by Braves
Pomeranz gave up five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three over 3.1 innings Saturday against the Braves. He did not factor into the decision.
It was a brutal outing for the lefty, who recently thought he had found a mechanical fix that would improve his performance going forward. His ERA now sits at 6.75 and he has failed to go more than four innings in three straight starts. The Red Sox have some options if they want to adjust Pomeranz's role, notably Steven Wright, who threw three scoreless frames out of the bullpen and got the win Saturday.
