Emilio Pagan RP | CIN

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Returns from disabled list Saturday
Andriese (groin) has returned from the disabled list and is pitching in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Andriese will be making his first start since being placed on the DL in late May. The right-hander hurled a successful bullpen on Wednesday and has accumulated a 3.45 ERA over the course of 11 starts in 2017. In a corresponding move, the team optioned Ryan Garton to Triple-A Durham.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: On track for return in Oakland
Chapman (shoulder) is on track to rejoin the Yankees for their series against the A's next weekend, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The Yankees have mapped out Chapman's upcoming rehab assignment where he'll start out at High-A Tampa on Tuesday before making one last stop at Double-A Trenton on Friday. Once Chapman makes it through those rehab appearances, he'll likely come off the disabled list later that weekend. His return will bump Dellin Betances from the closer's role.

Chad Green RP | TOR
Yankees' Chad Green: Candidate for spot start Sunday
Green is a candidate to start Sunday's series finale against the Orioles, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
The Yankees have yet to confirm a starter for Sunday's contest, but Green appears to be the likeliest candidate to take the mound. Green has yet to make a start this season, but he has a number of multi-inning appearances that suggest he'd be a viable spot starter if necessary. In his most recent appearance, Green fanned five Red Sox over 3.1 scoreless and hitless innings. That said, if Saturday turns into a bullpen game for the Yankees, it could knock Green out of the running for Sunday's start.

Zach Neal RP | ATH
Athletics' Zach Neal: Gives up five earned runs in long relief
Neal gave up five earned runs on six hits over 4.1 innings in Friday's 13-4 loss to the Rays. He struck out four.
The 28-year-old was brought in after starter Andrew Triggs was blasted for eight earned runs in less than four frames, but he wasn't much better. It was a second consecutive poor long-relief effort for Neal after he gave up seven earned runs over 3.1 frames against the Nationals on June 2. Following Friday's outing, he sports an unsightly 10.13 ERA and a 1.59 WHIP.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Notches 18th save Friday
Kimbrel struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 18th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Tigers.
He's fanned multiple batters in five straight appearances and converted 12 straight save opportunities, as Kimbrel continues to put together the best season of his career with a 0.98 ERA, 0.47 WHIP and 17.9 K/9.

Brian Johnson RP | BOS
Red Sox's Brian Johnson: Bailed out by offense Friday
Johnson (2-0) gave up three runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.1 innings while striking out two but was able to escape with a no-decision in Friday's 5-3 win over the Tigers.
The left-hander was on the hook for his first loss in the majors this season before Jackie Bradley launched a game-winning homer in the bottom of the eighth inning. With Eduardo Rodriguez (knee) likely out of action until after the All-Star break, Johnson should finally get an extended look with the Red Sox. He'll take a 3.44 ERA and 1.31 WHIP into his next start Wednesday on the road against the Phillies.
-
Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mariners' Edwin Diaz: Records 10th save in Friday's win
Diaz threw a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts and allowed no baserunners to record his 10th save in Friday's win over Toronto.
Diaz briefly lost the closer role in May, but has bounced back and looks locked in again as Seattle's stopper. In his last eight appearances, Diaz has converted all three of hsi save chances and allowed one run in nine innings with 10 strikeouts and two walks.

Chih-Wei Hu RP | TB
Rays' Chih-Wei Hu: Called up as 26th man for doubleheader
Hu will be the 26th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Athletics, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
