  • Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Being shopped by Yankees

The Yankees are looking into possible trades for Chapman, ESPN's Buster Olney reports.

Closers are often moved into set-up roles following trades to more competitive teams, but Chapman would presumably be one of the exceptions, as he's enjoying yet another dominant season in his first year with the Yankees. He might even benefit from a move, perhaps getting a few more save opportunities over the final two months of the season. The Yankees probably aren't in any rush to make a deal, sitting just five games back of the second wild-card spot in the AL.

  • Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Records third straight quality start in win over Astros

Graveman (6-6) allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk with five strikeouts over seven innings in a win Monday over the Astros.

Graveman now has three straight quality starts for the first time all season. The home run he allowed was his first in five starts as he is finally starting to avoid the big mistake that plagued him for the first two months of the season. Graveman allowed 12 home runs in his first 13 starts, a big reason why he opened the season with a 4.87 ERA. Since then, he owns a sharp 2.97 ERA and 1.14 WHIP, although his 4.0 K/9 in that stretch suggests this level of performance might not be sustainable.

  • White Sox's David Robertson: Serves up four runs in blown save against Mariners

Robertson (0-2) allowed four runs on three hits and a walk and got just two outs as he took the loss in a blown save Monday against Seattle.

Robertson was 13-for-13 in save opportunities since May 9 against Texas, but Adam Lind touched him up for a three-run walk-off home run to put that streak to bed. Robertson's ERA is up to 4.14, largely as a result of two blowups -- Monday's outing and his six earned runs allowed May 28 against Kansas City combine to account for 59 percent of the earned runs he has allowed this season.

  • Hunter Harvey RP | CHC

Orioles' Hunter Harvey: To meet with Dr. James Andrews

Harvey (elbow) will meet with Dr. James Andrews regarding his recent elbow injury, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.

Harvey was forced to leave his start with short-season Aberdeen over the weekend, and it looks as though he may have sustained a potentially serious elbow injury. More will be known following the consultation, which will likely take place later in the week.

  • Kyle Crockett RP | CIN

Indians' Kyle Crockett: Recalled from Columbus

Crockett was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Monday, Ohio.com reports.

The Indians swapped out one bullpen arm for another Monday, as Cody Anderson will head back to Triple-A in a corresponding move. Crockett, who hasn't been up with the Indians since mid-May, has allowed seven hits and six earned runs in just 3.2 innings (11 appearances) of major league work this season.

  • Brian Flynn RP | KC

Royals' Brian Flynn: Listed as Tuesday's starter

Flynn is listed as the Royals' starter for Tuesday's matchup with the Indians, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Tuesday's starter had been up in the air, but it looks as though the ball will be in the hands of Flynn, who was unavailable out of the bullpen Sunday, likely in preparation for the start. The left-hander has pitched exclusively out of the bullpen this season, registering a 2.39 ERA across 26.1 innings (13 appearances). Per manager Ned Yost, Flynn will be capped at somewhere around 60-to-70 pitches.

  • Daniel Norris RP | CLE

Tigers' Daniel Norris: Set for rehab assignment

Norris (oblique) is set to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo on Monday.

Norris has been sidelined with a Grade 1 oblique strain since July 4. At this rate, he won't miss much time beyond the requisite 15 days, but it's unclear how many rehab appearances he'll need before returning to Detroit.

  • Tigers' Warwick Saupold: Activated from DL

Saupold (groin) was activated from the disabled list Monday, Anthony French of the Detroit Free Press reports.

After finishing up a rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo last week, Saupold will return to the Tigers' bullpen, where he holds an ugly 10.80 ERA through five appearances on the year. Saupold has allowed 13 hits and eight earned runs while striking out eight and walking three over 6.2 innings.

  • Joe Kelly RP | LAD

Red Sox's Joe Kelly: No plan for immediate return

Kelly, who is converting from starter to reliever at Triple-A Pawtucket, is not on the verge of returning to Boston, Jen McCaffrey of MassLive.com reports.

There was buzz after Kelly recorded a two-inning save in dominating fashion for the PawSox on Friday, speculating that the right-hander would be rejoining Boston's roster this week, but manager John Farrell put an end to that talk. "While this transition is going as we had hoped in terms of his converting into a reliever working strictly out of the stretch, there's been no discussion as a return date to here yet," Farrell said. The early results are encouraging, but we need to remember it was Kelly's inconsistency that got him removed from the rotation and optioned to Pawtucket. The Red Sox need to see a few more outings from Kelly before bringing him up to Boston.

  • Carson Fulmer RP | PIT

White Sox's Carson Fulmer: Throws two scoreless in MLB debut

Fulmer allowed one hit in two scoreless innings of relief against the Angels on Sunday in his MLB debut.

He struck out two in the appearance, including a three-pitch punchout of Albert Pujols to start things off. It is unclear how long Fulmer's stay in the majors will last, but it looks like he will serve as a long reliever for now.
