Danny Farquhar RP | TB
Rays' Danny Farquhar: Optioned to Triple-A
Farquhar was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Steve Carney of 620 WDAE reports.
Alex Colome's return from the disabled list meant that the Rays needed to clear a roster spot, and Farquhar's recent struggles made him a prime candidate to be optioned. He gave up two huge runs in Sunday's eventual 5-1 loss to the Tigers after Chris Archer held Detroit scoreless through 5.2 innings. Farquhar notched a 6.75 ERA over 10.2 innings before he was sent down Tuesday.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Rays' Alex Colome: Activated off disabled list
Colome (biceps) was activated off the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, Steve Carney of 620 WDAE reports.
Colome's brief stint on the DL came to an end Tuesday as he was able to return after the minimum 15 days. Given Tampa's recent struggles in the bullpen, Colome's return figures to be a huge boon in the back end. He figures to reclaim his role as the closer, a role in which he's flourished to the tune of a 1.76 ERA and 19 saves.

Buck Farmer RP | CIN
Tigers' Buck Farmer: Called up by Tigers
Farmer was recalled by the Tigers on Tuesday.
Daniel Norris landing on the DL on Tuesday put the Tigers in a bind in terms of pitching depth given that Jordan Zimmermann is also on the shelf with a neck injury. Farmer has shuttled between Triple-A Toledo and the majors this season with mixed results. He's worked solely as a starter with Toledo, where he's notched a 6.42 ERA across 10 starts, but he's been effective in a relief role with the Tigers (2.70 ERA in 13.1 innings). He'll probably serve as a long-relief option for the Tigers during his stint with the big league club, but he'll be a likely candidate to be sent down once either Norris or Zimmermann return.

Jose Leclerc RP | SD
Rangers' Jose Leclerc: Will head to majors
Leclerc was called up Tuesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
The 22-year-old has not yet stepped foot on a major league field, but will most likely do so with the crippled Rangers pitching staff needing fresh arms to get them to the All-Star break. Leclerc posted a 2.64 ERA over 44.1 innings between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock this season.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Will likely head to disabled list
Norris (oblique) underwent an MRI on Tuesday and will likely be placed on the disabled list, MLB Network's Jon Morosi reports.
Norris went down with a right oblique strain during Monday's game against the Indians and left the game in the third inning. He suffered the same injury last season, which caused him to miss a month of action. The Tigers haven't officially placed him on the disabled list yet, but the club is hoping that he'll be able to come back shortly after the All-Star Break. If Norris ends up on the disabled list, Buck Farmer or Matt Boyd could take his spot in the rotation Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: Allows only one run in win Monday
Graveman had a strong outing Monday against the Twins, earning a win while allowing only one run over 6.2 innings.
Graveman, a middling fantasy option for much of the season, has come on a bit in his last five starts. Over that span, he has allowed only one run three times and two runs once. Over the past month, Graveman has lowered his ERA nearly a run from 5.47 to 4.57. He will never be a huge strikeout source (6.02 K/9 this season and 5.99 K/9 in 2015), but his recent form makes him a decent matchup play in deeper leagues. Graveman is scheduled to next take the mound Saturday in Houston.

Ryan Garton RP | SEA
Rays' Ryan Garton: Notches first save of season Monday
Garton struck out one and recorded his first save in a 4-2 victory over the Angels on Monday, allowing a hit and a walk in two-thirds of an inning.
The 26-year-old put together his second consecutive scoreless appearance, following a forgettable June 30 outing versus the Tigers in which he gave up four earned runs without recording an out. Garton didn't exactly do it the easy way Monday after coming on with one out in the ninth. He issued a walk to Yunel Escobar before impressively getting Mike Trout looking for the second out of the inning while Escobar took second without a play. After an Albert Pujols infield single put runners at the corners, Garton was able to get the red-hot C.J. Cron to foul out to end the game. Outside of the aforementioned meltdown against Detroit, the young right-hander has scoreless appearances in four of his five trips to the mound since being recalled from Triple-A Durham on June 21.

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Rays' Matt Moore: Puts together second straight strong start
Moore (5-5) gave up two earned runs on six hits and two walks over 6.2 innings in a 4-2 victory over the Angels on Monday.
The 27-year-old southpaw followed up his seven-inning shutout of the Red Sox in his previous start with another solid outing. Moore fired 74 of his 113 pitches for strikes, and he notched first-pitch strikes on 20 of 30 hitters. The effort certainly didn't do anything to diminish Moore's trade value, and he'll likely continue to be the subject of rumors for a possible move for the next several weeks. He'll look to continue his stretch of strong performances when he takes the mound for a rematch with Boston next Saturday.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Will undergo MRI on Tuesday
Norris will undergo an MRI on Tuesday for the right oblique strain he suffered during Monday's abbreviated start against the Indians.
It's deja vu for Norris since he suffered the same injury last season and missed nearly a month of action. Although, the results of his MRI will be the deciding factor on whether or not he'll have to sit out again this time around.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Exits game with injury
Norris exited Monday's game against the Indians with an undisclosed injury in the third inning, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
Norris officially went 2.0 innings but was taken out in the third after registering a walk to Rajai Davis on four straight pitches. With the specificity and severity of Norris' injury still unknown, further info parsing out the situation will be forthcoming from the Tigers.
