Twins' Tyler Duffey: Could lose spot in rotation
Minnesota is considering replacing Duffey in the rotation before his next start, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "I'm probably not [ready] to finalize a decision on how his next his next turn is going to go as of yet," said Twins manager Paul Molitor.
Duffey has given up four or more runs in seven consecutive starts. It sounds like he could be sent to the minors before this weekend, though his replacement isn't clear.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Astros' Collin McHugh: Takes no-decision in quality start
McHugh (5-5) pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on five hits while walking one and striking out six Tuesday against the Angels. He did not factor in the decision.
For the first time this season, McHugh has put together back-to-back quality starts. He need 111 pitches -- his second highest total of the season -- to lower his ERA to a season-best 4.70. McHugh has only won one of his last eight starts, but he's pitched well enough to win a handful of them. Despite his recent improvement, the 29-year-old seemingly has no chance to repeat many (if any) of the numbers from last season's breakout performance.

Hector Santiago RP | SEA
Angels' Hector Santiago: Makes second straight quality start
Santiago (4-4) pitched 6.1 quality innings, allowing one run on three hits while walking two and striking out four against the Astros on Tuesday. He was left with a no-decision against after a blown save in the bottom of the ninth by the team's closer Huston Street.
In his five starts from May 20 to June 10, the 28-year-old was hammered for 23 earned runs in just 17 innings. He's rebounded nicely since, giving up just two runs and five hits over his last two outings. Santiago's career struggles with control continue contributing to his inconsistency, and he's well off the pace needed to come close to last year's career-high strikeouts. On the bright side, the southpaw has now put together back-to-back quality starts for the first time since mid-April, and in the process, pushed his ERA back under five for the first time since May.

David Robertson RP | PHI
White Sox's David Robertson: Goes four outs for 18th save
Robertson recorded the final four outs and allowed just one walk to pick up his 18th save Tuesday against the Red Sox.
This marks just Robertson's second save of the season in which he has had to record more than three outs. Don't expect this to become the norm for Robertson, who typically only goes multiple innings in an extra-innings situation. He now has a 3.64 ERA, but note that half of his 12 earned runs came in one appearance May 28 against Kansas City.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Bullpen session looming
Kelly (groin) is expected to throw his first bullpen session since his injury this coming weekend, Christopher Smith of Mass Live reports.
Manager John Farrell said Kelly will continue to long toss until he throws off a mound. The manager, according to Jen McCaffrey of Mass Live, also said during a weekly radio interview that the team may have Kelly move to the bullpen "at some point."

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: To start Thursday against Mariners
Norris will be recalled to start Thursday at home against the Mariners, MLB.com's Jason Beck reports.
The Tigers are shifting around their rotation a bit, but it seems Norris will get the chance to stick around going forward, especially if he impresses in Thursday's start. His numbers on the year are pretty rough at Triple-A (4.66 ERA, 1.52 WHIP), but over his last three starts he has allowed just six earned runs while striking out 16 over 18 innings. Norris is probably more of a streaming option in most mixed leagues for now.

Tyler Duffey RP | KC
Twins' Tyler Duffey: Struggles against MLB's worst offense
Duffey (2-6) lasted just three innings Tuesday against the Phillies. He allowed six runs on seven hits and did not factor in the decision.
The young right-hander's nightmare season continued Tuesday against an awful Phillies offense. After avoiding giving up a home run in last week's unimpressive outing against the Angels, Duffey's struggles with surrendering the deep ball returned Tuesday. He was crushed for three homers that resulted in five of the six runs he allowed. At some point, the Twins are going to have to address Duffey's performance thus far in 2016, and decide whether he will be sent to the minors, moved to the bullpen or given a chance to work through it. As of now, he's scheduled to make his next start Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Will pitch rehab game Friday
Manaea (arm) threw 39 pitches off the mound Tuesday and has been cleared to make a rehab start for High-A Stockton on Friday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Manaea was placed on the 15-day DL on June 14 after leaving a start the night before due to a pronator muscle strain in his left forearm. He seems to have progressed well over the last week and appears on track to return when eligible June 29. Manaea is 2-4 this season with a 6.02 ERA during 49.1 innings with the A's.

Warwick Saupold RP | DET
Tigers' Warwick Saupold: Beginning rehab assignment Thursday
Saupold (groin) will start a rehab assignment Thursday with Triple-A Toledo, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
Saupold was given a 2-to-4 week timetable after landing on the disabled list at the start of the month, so he appears to be on track to hit the back end of that projection. The 26-year-old had been with the major league club when he got hurt, but he'd allowed eight earned runs and 13 hits in just 6.2 innings in the big leagues, so it remains to be seen if he'll rejoin the Tigers or stay with the Triple-A club when healthy.

Ryan Garton RP | SEA
Rays' Ryan Garton: Called up Tuesday
Garton was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Garton pitched decently in his first major league stint, working to a 3.52 ERA with eight strikeouts over 7.2 innings, and he'll now return less than a week after being sent down. The 26-year-old isn't expected to join the club until after the start of Tuesday's tilt, so his immediate availability in the team's game against the Indians remains unclear.
