Drew VerHagen RP | STL
Tigers' Drew VerHagen: Optioned to Triple-A
VerHagen was optioned to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.
VerHagen had a poor outing Friday against the Orioles, giving up three earned runs in one inning. He'll head to Toledo with a 6.50 ERA through 18 games. Buck Farmer was recalled to take VerHagen's roster spot.

Lucas Luetge RP | BOS
Angels' Lucas Luetge: Called up on Sunday
Luetge was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Luetge has pitched in 15 games this season for Salt Lake, compiling a 2.33 ERA, 17 strikeouts, and a save. The 29-year-old will take the roster spot previously held by Tim Lincecum, who has been optioned to Salt Lake to begin a rehab assignment.

Danny Coulombe RP | BOS
Athletics' Daniel Coulombe: Called up from Triple-A
Coulombe was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Coulombe will serve as the temporary replacement for starter Sonny Gray, who was placed on the DL Sunday due to a strained right trapezius muscle. The lefty reliever saw two innings earlier in the year, but was later sent back to Triple-A, where he owns a 0.56 ERA over 16 frames. Coulombe will provide bullpen depth in the short term, but his roster spot may be at risk once the A's decide on Gray's replacement in the rotation.
-
Bo Schultz RP | PIT
Blue Jays' Bo Schultz: Activated, sent to Triple-A
Schultz (hip) was activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Buffalo.
Schultz, a right-handed reliever, will provide the Blue Jays with organizational depth in the bullpen for the time being, but may be an option for middle relief in the majors if he's able to resume his pre-injury form.
-
Kyle Crockett RP | CIN
Indians' Kyle Crockett: Sent to Triple-A
Crockett was optioned to Triple-A Columbus on Sunday.
Crockett held opponents to zero runs during his first six appearances in the majors, but has since unraveled a bit, allowing three earned runs Saturday to bring his ERA up to 14.73. For the time being, he'll be replaced by Austin Adams in the Cleveland bullpen.
-
Austin Adams RP | WAS
Indians' Austin Adams: Brought up to big leagues
Adams was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Sunday.
Adams will provide the Tribe with bullpen depth for their afternoon matchup in Boston. The right-hander has limited opposing batters to a .190 average through 16.1 innings at the Triple-A level this season.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Takes loss Saturday despite solid performance
Manaea (1-2) gave up six hits, five earned runs and two walks over 6.2 innings in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees. He struck out four.
He was serviceable, but couldn't get any run support from his offense on a day when Masahiro Tanaka was on top of his game. Manaea threw 66 of 95 pitches across the plate, and managed first-pitch strikes on 19 of the 29 hitters he faced. It was a step back for the 24-year-old, who'd allowed only one run to the Rangers during his last start, clearly his best outing of the season to date. He did stay away from the long ball for the second straight start, and the 6.2 innings equaled his longest stint on the mound, which he accomplished in the aforementioned outing against Texas. He'll try to get back in the win column against the Tigers on Friday in Oakland.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Fires six-plus innings of shutout ball in return from DL
Kelly (2-0) surrendered only one hit and three walks in 6.2 innings of scoreless ball during Saturday's 9-1 victory over the Indians. He struck out seven.
Kelly made quite a statement in his return to the mound from a DL stint due to a right shoulder impingement, carrying a no-hit bid into the seventh. Juan Uribe broke things up with a double to the right-center gap after the 27-year-old had recorded two outs in the frame, bringing an end to his afternoon after 104 pitches. Kelly will try to carry over the considerable momentum into his next start, which will come against J.A. Happ and the Blue Jays on Friday at Rogers Centre.

Tony Zych RP | NYY
Mariners' Tony Zych: Target return pushed back to mid-June
Zych (shoulder) isn't likely to return to active duty before mid-June at the earliest, the News Tribune reports.
The right-hander had been given a four-week timetable when he was placed on the disabled list with tendinitis in his rotator cuff May 3, but that gets pushed back by about 10 days. Zych has started to play catch on flat ground, but hasn't yet progressed to throwing from a mound.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Strikes out 11 Saturday
Fulmer (3-1) allowed one run on four hits and one walk while striking out 11 over seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Rays.
Fulmer left with the game tied at one, but the offense exploded for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to get him the victory. This was his first quality start in five outings, and he lowered his ERA to 5.13. He'll make his next start Friday at the Athletics.
