Josh Fields RP | MIL
Astros' Josh Fields: Fails to record an out Tuesday
Fields failed to record an out Tuesday, allowing two runs on four consecutive hits during Houston's 7-5 loss to Texas.
Fields entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning in relief of starter Scott Feldman and promptly gave up two singles and two doubles before he was removed from the game for Chris Devenski. The 30-year-old right-hander sports an 11.37 ERA, 2.21 WHIP and 8:1 K:BB ratio over 6.1 innings this season. He'll continue to work in low-leverage situations for the time being.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Placed on disabled list with shoulder impingement
Kelly (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.
Kelly left Tuesday's start with a right shoulder impingement after throwing just 23 pitches. The Red Sox have recalled a pair of relievers, Noe Ramirez and William Cuevas, in order to help eat up innings for the next few days. Boston will likely call up one of its more major league-ready starters, such as Henry Owens, later in the week to take Kelly's spot in the rotation. As for Kelly, he still figures to undergo a battery of tests on his shoulder before a more concrete timetable for a return is able to be established.

Orioles' Hunter Harvey: will not join an affiliate until the end of April
Orioles manager Buck Showalter said he didn't know when Harvey would join an affiliate, but it might not be until the end of April, the Baltimore Sun reports.
On the positive side, Showalter said the most recent medical report on Harvey said the right-hander is "ready to go, completely able." He will likely begin the year in High-A Frederick.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: To DL with shoulder injury
Kelly (shoulder) will land on the 15-day DL after Tuesday's game, the Boston Herald's Evan Drellich reports.
He left Tuesday's start after 23 pitches with a right shoulder impingement. Manager John Farrell said he expects Kelly to have a full set of tests on his shoulder, and that the Red Sox may make an additional roster move after the long night for the bullpen Tuesday. It is unclear how long Kelly will be out, but in mixed leagues without DL spots, it might be time to take a look at what's available on the waiver wire. Speaking of which, Henry Owens figures to be the obvious option to jump into the rotation after last pitching Monday for Triple-A Pawtucket.

Jesse Chavez RP | ATL
Blue Jays' Jesse Chavez: Dealing with sore back
Chavez was not available to pitch in Tuesday's game due to back soreness, Sportsnet's Barry Davis reports.
His back locked up earlier in the day when he was playing catch. Chavez said he hopes to be fine for Wednesday's game, so he should be considered day-to-day for now. So far he has a 2.08 ERA and 1.38 WHIP working in relief for the Jays.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Leaves Tuesday with shoulder impingement
Kelly left Tuesday's game in the first inning with a right shoulder impingement, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports.
The injury ended Kelly's outing after 23 pitches, and seems like the type of issue that could at least threaten to push him to the DL. Look for the team to elaborate further on Kelly's condition in the coming days. Henry Owens, who last pitched for Triple-A Pawtucket on Monday, would be the obvious candidate to step in for Kelly should he miss Sunday's start.

Joe Kelly RP | LAD
Red Sox's Joe Kelly: Leaves early Tuesday with injury
Kelly left Tuesday's game against the Rays with an apparent injury after facing only four batters, Pete Abraham of the Boston Globe reports.
It wasn't obvious what was ailing Kelly, but he seemed to stretch his shoulder a bit after striking out Corey Dickerson in the first inning. The trainer came out to see him and Kelly left after a lengthy visit, with Heath Hembree replacing him on the mound. Kelly walked two of the four batters he faced.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Dominant to begin season
Fulmer, 23, has a 0.82 ERA and 14:4 K:BB through 11 innings for Triple-A Toledo.
Often forgotten as a member of the Mets' system, Fulmer is now the top prospect for the Tigers, and has certainly pitched like it since being traded for Yoenis Cespedes. He could be a Justin Verlander injury away from making his MLB debut.

Miguel Almonte RP | LAA
Royals' Miguel Almonte: Recalled from Triple-A on Tuesday
Almonte was recalled from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.
Right-hander Dillon Gee was placed on the paternity list Tuesday, leaving the Royals a bit more thin in their bullpen. Almonte wasn't great in two starts at Triple-A, but he did leave a nice impression during spring training with eight strikeouts in six innings which may have factored into the callup. He likely won't be in the big league bullpen for long, but he could rack up a few strikeouts in lower-leverage situations while Gee remains out.

Jeff Ferrell RP | DET
Tigers' Jeff Ferrell: Will begin rehab assignment
Ferrell (shoulder) will begin rehab assignment with Single-A Lakeland on Tuesday.
Ferrell holds a 6.35 ERA through 11.3 innings of work this year and will now begin rehabbing at the Single-A level. It is likely that he will spend a couple weeks in the minors working on getting back to full strength and is expected to join the Tigers in early May.
