A.J. Minter RP | NYM
Braves' A.J. Minter: Notches fourth save
Minter picked up a save against San Diego on Monday with a scoreless inning of work during which he struck out one batter.
Minter entered the contest in the ninth frame with Atlanta up two runs. The southpaw needed just 10 pitches to retire the side in order and secure a save for the second straight day. Minter has been very effective as Atlanta's closer with Raisel Iglesias (shoulder) on the injured list, going 4-for-5 in save chances and posting a 2.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 8:2 K:BB over nine innings. Iglesias is likely to be out for at least another week, so Minter will retain short-term fantasy value, though there's a strong chance that he'll be cast back to a setup role once Iglesias returns.

Raisel Iglesias RP | ATL
Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Throws bullpen session
Iglesias (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Monday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. "He says he feels great, now it's just a matter of progression," said manager Brian Snitker.
Iglesias will likely need another bullpen session or two before going out on a rehab assignment. His exact timetable to return isn't clear, but at least he's started to make progress. Iglesias is working his way back from low-grade right shoulder inflammation, which he developed just before Opening Day. A.J. Minter has been serving as the team's primary closer with Iglesias out.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Braves' Collin McHugh: Making rehab appearance Tuesday
McHugh (shoulder) will make a rehab appearance for High-A Rome on Tuesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
McHugh is currently on the shelf while dealing with inflammation in his right shoulder. The veteran right-hander will likely need to make a handful of bullpen appearances before returning to the Atlanta relief group at some point next week.

Edwin Uceta RP | TB
Mets' Edwin Uceta: Brought up from Triple-A
The Mets recalled Uceta from Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Uceta will take the roster spot of Jose Butto after Butto was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move. The right-hander provides the Mets with a middle-innings option out of the bullpen while he's with the club.

Drew Pomeranz RP | LAA
Padres' Drew Pomeranz: Expected to start rehab soon
Pomeranz (neck, elbow) threw a bullpen Sunday and is expected to begin a rehab assignment this week with Low-A Lake Elsinore, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Pomeranz won't go to Triple-A El Paso to begin his rehab with the club heading to Triple-A Tacoma this week. The southpaw is working his way back from flexor tendon surgery in August 2021, but his rehab was delayed by a neck strain suffered last week. Pomeranz reported back to San Diego to receive treatment on his neck, and he has a chance to pitch in the Cal League for the Storm by the end of the week.

Wilking Rodriguez RP | NYY
Cardinals' Wilking Rodriguez: Set to begin rehab assignment
Rodriguez (shoulder) threw another bullpen session Monday and is set to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Thursday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
Rodriguez landing on the injured list just ahead of Opening Day because of tightness in his right shoulder, but he's been able to complete a handful of bullpen sessions and is now set to begin his rehab assignment. The right-hander was a Rule 5 pick by St. Louis over the winter, and must be carried on the roster when he's healthy.

Daniel Bard RP | COL
Rockies' Daniel Bard: Could be activated Tuesday
Bard (personal) rejoined the Rockies in Denver on Monday and could be activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Bard was a surprise addition to the 15-day IL in the hours leading up to Opening Day after he had experienced anxiety and struggled with his command during the Cactus League and the World Baseball Classic, but he appears to be in a better spot both physically and mentally nearly three weeks later. At least from a performance standpoint, Bard looked to be dialed in during his rehab outing at Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday, when he recorded three punchouts and allowed one hit and no walks over a scoreless 23-pitch, 17-strike inning. Whenever Bard is activated from the IL, he could be eased back in with a low-leverage outing or two, but he'll likely supplant Pierce Johnson as the team's preferred closer sooner rather than later.

Justin Bruihl RP | STL
Dodgers' Justin Bruihl: Recalled from OKC
The Dodgers recalled Bruihl from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Bruihl will take the place of Andre Jackson on the roster and operate in the middle innings. The left-hander held his own in 2022 over 24 appearances with a 3.80 ERA and 1.18 WHIP over 23.2 innings.

Andre Jackson RP | PIT
Dodgers' Andre Jackson: Optioned to Triple-A
The Dodgers optioned Jackson to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Jackson struggled in two of his four appearances with the Dodgers and heads to Triple-A with an ERA of 8.64 over 8.1 innings with the big-league club. Justin Bruihl will take the right-hander's place in the bullpen.

Steven Wilson RP | TB
Padres' Steven Wilson: Seeing more eighth-inning work
Wilson worked the eighth inning during Sunday's loss to Milwaukee, tossing a scoreless frame during which he allowed one walk and no hits.
This was the second time in the past week that Wilson pitched the eighth inning of a close game -- in the other instance, he picked up a hold during a 4-2 win over the Mets. The right-hander's role isn't set in stone, as in his other two outings last week he pitched once in the seventh inning and another time in the fourth and fifth frames. It seems to be clear, however, that Wilson has earned the trust of manager Bob Melvin in tight late-game situations. That trust stems from a strong start to the campaign during which Wilson has posted a 0.84 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 11.0 K/9 over nine appearances. He's walking a few too many batters (five through 10.2 innings), and Josh Hader isn't in any danger of losing his job as San Diego's closer, but Wilson could be a worthwhile pickup in fantasy leagues that count holds even when Robert Suarez (elbow) and Drew Pomeranz (elbow/neck) return to action.
