The Phillies optioned Banks to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.

Though he's struck out 31 in 27.2 innings this season, Banks has also issued 13 walks while holding a 5.86 ERA and 1.92 WHIP. He'll try to get straightened out at Lehigh Valley.

The Cardinals designated Roycroft for assignment Thursday.

The transaction clears space on the 40-man roster for the addition of Max Rajcic. Roycroft has flashed promise in spurts for the Cardinals but holds an unsightly 6.41 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 52:37 K:BB over 60.1 innings covering parts of three big-league seasons.

Henriquez earned a hold against the Rays on Wednesday, allowing one hit in 1.1 scoreless innings of work.

Henriquez was summoned in the seventh inning, right after the Dodgers took a one-run lead. The right-hander allowed an infield single to open the frame, but that was quickly wiped out on a double play. After getting through the seventh, Henriquez remained in the game for one batter in the eighth and got Junior Caminero to ground out before departing. Henriquez picked up his fifth hold, all of which have come over his past 12 appearances. He's pitched to a 2.13 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 15:2 K:BB over 12.2 innings during that span.

The Mets optioned Pintaro to Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday.

Pintaro's stay with the big club lasted just one day, with the right-hander striking out four batters and giving up two earned runs on three hits over 3.2 innings of relief in Monday's 12-0 loss to the Reds. He gave up his spot on the Mets' active roster to right-hander Kodai Senga (spine), who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list ahead of his start Tuesday.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley placed Holman on its 7-day injured list May 30 due to an unspecified injury.

After claiming Holman off waivers from the Tigers on May 7, the Phillies optioned him to Triple-A. Before landing on the shelf, he made five relief appearances for Lehigh Valley and turned in a 7.11 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB in 6.1 innings.

The Cardinals optioned Roycroft to Triple-A Memphis on Thursday.

Roycroft made two appearances during his most recent stint in the majors, getting tagged for four runs over 1.2 innings. He's posted a 15.19 ERA in seven outings in the majors this season. The Cardinals will announce a corresponding roster move prior to Thursday's game versus the Royals.

Assad (5-1) allowed two runs on five hits and struck out one without walking a batter to earn the win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Assad came up an out short of a quality start, but he picked up his second win in a row. He's allowed just two runs over 18 innings across three outings (two starts) in June while filling in for Jameson Taillon (hamstring) in the rotation. Assad now has a 3.89 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB through 44 innings over 11 appearances (five starts) on the year. Taillon is expected to be out beyond the All-Star break and Matthew Boyd (knee/shoulder) is making a rehab start Saturday, so Assad is tentatively projected for at least one more start. He's lined up to face the Mets in New York next week.

Beck earned the save Wednesday in the 7-5 win against Atlanta after retiring both batters he faced with one strikeout.

The 29-year-old locked down his first save of the season after Matt Gage's struggles in the ninth created a save situation. Beck has been shuttled back-and-forth between the majors and minors numerous times this season but has largely struggled in the big leagues with an 8.31 ERA and 4:2 K:BB across 10 innings. Despite Wednesday's save, the right-hander isn't likely to see much high-leverage action out of the bullpen for the Giants.

Webb allowed a solo home run but still managed to secure the save in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Rockies. He struck out one.

Staked to an 8-5 lead, Webb allowed a home run to Kyle Karros in the top of the ninth inning, but the righty buckled down to secure his second save of the season. Webb got the first save opportunity in the absence of Daniel Palencia, who was placed on the injured list Tuesday due to right elbow inflammation. It's unclear how long Palencia will ultimately be out, which could make Webb a good speculative add for fantasy managers, in the meantime.

Vesia earned the save in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Rays, allowing no hits and three walks with one strikeout in a scoreless ninth inning.

With Tanner Scott unavailable after pitching in consecutive games to open the week, Vesia got the ball in the ninth inning and was able to preserve a one-run lead despite loading the bases on walks. He's allowed just two earned runs in June and has held opponents scoreless in 30 of 33 appearances overall. On the year, the southpaw owns a 2.59 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 32:15 K:BB across 24.1 innings to go along with 11 holds and three saves.
