Reed was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.

Reed made his 2022 debut during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, and he allowed no hits and two walks while striking out two in two innings to earn the win. After spending a few days in the minors, the right-hander will rejoin the Mets' bullpen prior to Saturday's twin bill against Colorado.

Suarez earned a save against the Giants on Friday, allowing an unearned run on one hit while striking out one over one inning.

With closer Taylor Rogers unavailable for San Diego, the team turned to Luis Garcia to hold a two-run, ninth-inning lead. He was unable to do so, but the Padres put up a pair of runs in the top of the 10th and handed the ball to Suarez in the bottom of the frame. The right-hander came through with his first career save despite allowing the inherited runner to score on a one-out single. Since being knocked around for three runs in his season debut, Suarez has posted a 2.20 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 19:6 K:BB across 16.1 innings.

Doval (0-2) took the loss during Friday's 8-7 defeat at the hands of the Padres, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits with one strikeout in one inning.

Doval was brought in to pitch the 10th inning of a tie game and surrendered two hits within the first three batters to put San Francisco in a two-run hole it couldn't crawl out of. The 24-year-old has dropped both tie games he's entered this month, though he's been lights out when given a lead. Doval now possesses a 2.70 ERA and 1.26 WHIP with 22 strikeouts and nine walks in 16.2 innings across 16 appearances.

Junis didn't factor into the decision during Friday's 8-7 loss to San Diego, allowing four runs on seven hits with two strikeouts in six innings.

Junis successfully navigated a tough San Diego lineup aside from the third inning, when he surrendered all four runs on four hits. The 29-year-old reached six innings for the first time, and he did it on an impressive 76 pitches, though he only managed two strikeouts and five swinging strikes. Junis takes a 2.70 ERA and 1.01 WHIP into his next start, projected to come midweek against the Mets.

Manaea didn't factor into the decision during Friday's 8-7 win over San Francisco, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts in six innings.

Manaea pitched well to every Giant aside from Darin Ruf, who accounted for three of the four runs against the lefty with two home runs. After a scorching stretch to open the campaign, the 30-year-old has been pedestrian over his last five outings with a 5.70 ERA across 30 innings. A 3.41 xFIP indicates Manaea's 4.04 ERA has been a product of some poor luck, and he'll look to get back in the win column for the first time since April 18 in his next start.

Phillips allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one batter over a scoreless inning to earn a hold Friday against the Phillies.

The right-hander was deployed in the eighth inning with the Dodgers hanging onto a three-run lead. He surrendered a leadoff bunt single and a two-out walk but got out of the frame without allowing any damage on the scoreboard. Phillips hasn't given up a run in any of his past six outings and has been unscored upon in 13 of his 15 overall appearances this season.

Kimbrel gave up a hit and struck out one batter for his only out Friday to record his eighth save of the season in a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

The Dodgers took a four-run lead into the ninth inning, but after Phil Bickford ran into trouble that included back-to-back doubles, Kimbrel was brought in to clean up the mess. The veteran reliever had given up three runs over his last two appearances himself, so an easy save chance might have been just what he needed to get back on track. Kimbrel has yet to blow a save chance this season, but his 3.27 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 31.3 percent strikeout rate are all failing to meet last year's standards.

Smith struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his second save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Marlins.

Kenley Jansen last pitched Wednesday, but he'd worked on four of five days to that point, so Atlanta manager Brian Snitker elected to give his closer a little extra rest. Smith has been erratic this season -- his 3.38 ERA benefits from six unearned runs, while his 20.9 percent strikeout rate is almost 10 points worse than 2021 -- but he remains the next man up for saves when Jansen is unavailable.

Gallegos struck out five in 1.2 scoreless innings to earn the save in Friday's win over the Pirates.

The Pirates put together a late rally during Friday's matchup, but Gallegos entered the game with runners on first and third and struck out every batter he faced to record the final five outs of the game while preserving the two-run lead. The right-hander was charged with a blown save Thursday against the Mets, but it was encouraging to see him bounce back in Friday's series opener. Gallegos has now converted eight of 10 save chances over 15 appearances this season.

White will start Saturday's game against the Phillies, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.

White was reinstated from the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday, and he allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit and a walk while striking out three in 1.1 innings during a relief appearance against the Diamondbacks. The right-hander will make his first start of the season during Saturday's matchup, and manager Dave Roberts is hopeful that White will be able to pitch approximately 45 pitches or three innings.
