Lamet (forearm) won't return prior to the All-Star break, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Lamet has been feeling better recently and resumed playing catch last week, but he won't start during the team's weekend series against the Rockies. If the right-hander remains on track in his recovery, he could return to the Padres shortly after the All-Star break.

Kranick will be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis to start Friday against the Mets, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

Kranick delivered five scoreless frames in his big-league debut June 27, and he'll receive his second start during the final weekend of the season's first half. The right-hander is expected to remain a member of the rotation during the second half after making a strong impression in his debut.

Milner was optioned to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Milner made two relief appearances with the major-league club after he was recalled Friday, and he allowed four hits and a walk while striking out two across a scoreless inning. The southpaw has tossed 11.1 scoreless innings in the minors this season, and he'll return to the Triple-A club ahead of the All-Star break. Right-hander Jandel Gustave will remain in the major-league bullpen after he served as the 27th man in Wednesday's doubleheader.

Santillan was recalled by the Reds on Thursday.

Santillan will be taking the roster spot that had belonged to Sonny Gray (ribs), who hit the injured list in a corresponding move. It doesn't look as though he'll be taking Gray's spot in the rotation, however, as Gray just pitched Wednesday and won't see his turn come up again until after the All-Star break. Santillan is unlikely to have much fantasy value as a reliever, as his solid 3.78 ERA in four starts this season comes with a roughly average 24.4 percent strikeout rate and a poor 1.68 WHIP.

Hartlieb was claimed off waivers by the Mets on Thursday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Hartlieb was designated for assignment by Pittsburgh on Saturday, but he'll land another spot on a 40-man roster going forward. The right-hander could report to Triple-A Syracuse to begin his time with his new organization, but he's made four relief appearances in the majors this year and could return to the big leagues as a low-leverage bullpen option at some point.

Webb was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.

Webb was recalled by Atlanta on Tuesday, and he allowed two hits and no walks while striking out one in two scoreless innings Wednesday. The right-hander will now return to the minors after Pablo Sandoval was reinstated from the restricted list Thursday.

White was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

White has bounced between Triple-A and the majors throughout the season. His latest stint on the big-league roster lasted just one day, and he gave up three runs (two earned) on three hits and a walk over four innings of long relief. Darien Nunez had his contract selected in a corresponding move.

Bender (1-0) struck out three but gave up a solo shot to Zach McKinstry in the ninth inning Wednesday, blowing the save but recording the win in a 9-6 victory.

With Yimi Garcia having pitched the day before and three times in the prior four days, Bender got the nod in a save situation and couldn't get the job done, but a walkoff blast by Jesus Aguilar handed the right-hander his first big-league win. The rookie has forced himself into a high-leverage role with a 0.99 ERA, 0.73 WHIP and 37:7 K:BB through his first 27.1 innings in the majors, and should Garcia be out of the picture for any significant length of time, Bender may well take over the ninth inning for the Marlins ahead of Dylan Floro or Anthony Bass.

White didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 9-6 loss to the Marlins, giving up three runs (two earned) on three hits and a walk over four relief innings. He struck out five.

Working as the bulk reliever behind opener Jake Reed, White threw 42 of 65 pitches for strikes and exited the game in line for his first win of the year with the Dodgers clinging to a 5-4 lead, though it wouldn't hold. The 26-year-old has a 3.93 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 19:9 K:BB through 18.1 big-league innings this season, and he could see more consistent work in the second half as the team tries to keep its rotation afloat.

Cousins (1-0) picked up the win in a 5-0 victory over the Mets during the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader, striking out one in a perfect inning of relief.

The rookie worked the fifth inning as the first man out of the bullpen in relief of Brett Anderson, and with the Brewers already holding a 2-0 lead, Cousins was rewarded with his first MLB win. The 26-year-old has yet to allow a hit, much less a run, through his first six big-league appearances with a sharp 12:3 K:BB in 7.1 innings.
