Wilson allowed two runs on six hits while striking out five batters over six innings Tuesday against the Blue Jays. He did not factor into the decision.

Wilson was recalled Tuesday to make a spot start in place of Drew Smyly and had one of the better outings of his young career. The 23-year-old had his first quality start of 2021 and recorded a season-high five strikeouts, tally largely bolstered by the fact he struck out the side in the first inning. His only major mistake of the evening was allowing a two-run homer to Vladimir Guerrero in the sixth to even the game. It's unclear what manager Brian Snitker's plans are for Wilson moving forward, but it wouldn't be surprising if he was sent back to Triple-A Gwinnett unless Atlanta unexpectedly opts to switch to a six-man rotation.

Minter (1-1) was charged with the loss and a blown save Tuesday against the Blue Jays after allowing three runs on three hits while failing to get an out.

Minter came in to begin the eighth preserving a one-run lead but could not get the job done. He allowed the first three batters to reach base before Vladimir Guerrero notched an RBI single off him to tie the game. He was taken out in favor of Jacob Webb who allowed two more runs to score, both of which were charged to Minter. Tuesday was the first time Minter had allowed a run since April 15, as he's been fairly reliable outside of Tuesday's hiccup. His ERA now stands at 4.50 and his WHIP shot up to 1.19, but his role as Atlanta's setup man should still be safe for the time being.

Lamet allows one earned run on one hit and one walk while striking out one across two innings in the Padres' win over the Rockies on Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision.

Lamet seems to be a lock in for two innings at this point, pitching exactly two innings in all three of his starts. Raimel Tapia scored the only run of the game for the Rockies in the first inning off Lamet. He's taken advantage of the limited opportunities he's getting, allowing just one run in six innings. However, the injury protection the team is giving him is preventing him from getting any consistency in his starts.

Cleavinger (1-3) earned the win over Seattle on Tuesday, pitching a perfect inning in relief and registering two strikeouts.

Cleavinger has taken a few tough losses this season -- twice he has given up the winning run in extra innings after starting his frame with a runner at second base -- so it was fitting that the Dodgers mounted a comeback that resulted in his first win Tuesday. The southpaw certainly did his part to earn the victory, striking out a pair in the eighth inning while keeping the team within a run. Cleavinger has a 5.06 ERA across 5.1 innings but has managed a solid 9:3 K:BB.

Jansen picked up the save against the Mariners on Tuesday, pitching a scoreless ninth inning and collecting two strikeouts.

Jansen made quick work of Seattle while protecting a two-run lead, needing 14 pitches to set down the side in order. The veteran closer has struggled with his control at times this season, walking 14 batters over 15.1 innings. However, he has converted six of eight save opportunities and pitched to a 1.76 ERA while once again averaging over a strikeout per inning. His velocity has hovered around 93 mph, up a few ticks from his marks over the previous three campaigns.

Alzolay (1-3) took the loss Tuesday at Cleveland after allowing three runs on five hits with six strikeouts and zero walks over six innings.

The 26-year-old pitched well but was hurt by the long ball, as all three runs came via homers from Jose Ramirez and Cesar Hernandez. Alzolay has a 4.50 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 36:7 K:BB through 32 innings this season.

Hoffman (2-3) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over four innings as the Reds were downed 7-2 by the Pirates. He struck out four.

For the third straight start, Hoffman failed to get past four innings. He tossed 46 of his 75 pitches for strikes. The right-hander will take a 4.70 ERA and 27:15 K:BB through 30.2 innings into his next outing.

Suter was reinstated from the bereavement list Tuesday.

He was out of his element in his last appearance, giving up three earned runs over 2.1 innings as a starter May 7 in Miami. Suter will work as a fireman out of the bullpen going forward. He logged a 2.70 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 15 strikeouts in 16.2 innings over 12 appearances prior to that most recent outing.

Hernandez (biceps) is throwing a bullpen Tuesday and live batting practice Thursday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander presumably requires multiple rehab starts before returning to the big league-rotation. Hernandez exited his season debut April 3 after 2.1 innings and was placed on the injured list two days later. His activation from the injured list likely remains at least two weeks off.

Martin (shoulder) will make his third rehab appearance Tuesday before the Braves decide if he's ready to return, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

The righty pitched in just two early-season games before landing on the injured list with shoulder inflammation. Martin figures to have a critical role in the Braves' lefty-heavy bullpen upon returning from injury.
