Chapman pitched a scoreless ninth inning while allowing a hit and striking out one to earn his third save since joining the Cubs, Sunday against the Athletics.

Chapman was protecting a two-run lead and worked around a two-out single to close out the road victory for the Cubs. He's now converted three of his four save opportunities with a 1.59 ERA for his new team. He should continue to see plenty of save opportunities for his playoff-bound club.

Vizcaino has advanced to the point in his recovery where he is now able to get back up on a mound. He may need a rehab assignment before returning from the disabled list, but he could rejoin the Braves at some point later this month.

Edwards struck out two in a scoreless appearance against Oakland on Friday.

The Cubs made some moves to shore up their bullpen at the trading deadline, but they already had a number of strong options in house, including Edwards, who has a 0.61 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB in 18 innings. He has not given up a hit in any of his last seven appearances.
