Barlow (2-3) allowed a run on two hits and a walk over one-third of an inning, taking the loss versus the Tigers on Monday.

Barlow put runners on the corners before giving up the lone run of the game on a fielder's choice. He allowed just two runs over 12.1 innings from the start of June through July 4, but he's given up another two runs over his last two appearances. Barlow is at a 3.68 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 53:20 K:BB through 36.2 innings while adding two saves and 17 holds. Barlow is part of the mix for setup duties, but his lofty walk rate continues to hold him back compared to many of Cleveland's other relievers.

Miller tossed a scoreless ninth inning with a strikeout to earn the save in Monday's 1-0 win over the Guardians.

Miller got the call with no margin for error and he efficiently shut Cleveland down on 13 pitches to earn his first save of the season and just the second of his 12-year MLB career. The team showed a lot of faith in the veteran, who entered the contest with a 5.97 ERA, but he was much better last season with a 1.71 ERA for the Dodgers. If Miller can get anywhere close to that form down the stretch, he'll be a bullpen weapon for the Tigers and a potentially valuable fantasy asset if he sees more save opportunities.

Holton (4-1) tossed 1.2 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win in Monday's 1-0 victory over the Guardians.

After Detroit starter Keider Montero was lights out through 6.1 innings, Holton got the call to get the last two outs of the seventh with a runner on and the game tied 0-0. The lefty escaped the frame, then breezed through the top of the eighth before snagging the win when the Tigers scored once in the bottom of the inning. After a dominant 2023 campaign in which he posted a 2.11 ERA and 0.87 WHIP across 85.1 innings, Holton has taken a slight step back in 2024, though he's still been very solid with a 3.64 ERA and identical 0.87 WHIP. The ratios alone give him some fantasy appeal, though his value would increase if he slid into the closer role at some point. It was Shelby Miller who earned his first save of the season after Holton exited the game Monday.

The Rangers optioned Anderson to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.

The move is to make room on the 26-man roster for right-hander Daniel Robert. Anderson pitched two scoreless innings Sunday against the Rays, allowing just one hit while striking out three. Across 17 major-league outings this season, Anderson has an 8.53 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over 19 innings.

The Diamondbacks optioned Jacques to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Jacques will return to Reno to make room on the 26-man roster for Yilber Diaz, who is making his major-league debut Monday against Atlanta. Jacques was called up by Arizona on July 4 and his only outing since then came one day later against the Padres, when he gave up two runs on three hits and one walk over 1.1 innings. In 15 games with Reno this season, Jacques has a 4.58 ERA and 1.51 WHIP across 17.2 frames.

Atlanta optioned Lee to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Lee boasts a 2.00 ERA and 37:11 K:BB over 36 innings this season but nonetheless finds himself back in the minors. He should be back shortly after the All-Star break once he's eligible to be recalled.

The Reds recalled Zulueta from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Zulueta permitted one run with four strikeouts over a three-inning relief appearance in his major-league debut with the Reds last month before he was sent back to Louisville. The 26-year-old will fill a middle-relief role during his upcoming stint in the big leagues.

The Mariners activated Santos (lat) from the 60-day injured list Monday.

Santos has been sidelined all season while recovering from a right lat strain. He made just two rehab appearances, striking out a pair of two scoreless frames. Santos reportedly reached 99 miles per hour on the radar gun in Saturday's outing with High-A Everett, helping to convince the Mariners that he was ready to go. The 24-year-old should eventually find himself in high-leverage situations for Seattle, but he could be eased into such spots. Santos will be making his Mariners debut when he gets into a game after being acquired via trade from the White Sox over the offseason.

Kuhl tossed 4.1 innings out of the bullpen in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Guardians, striking out one batter while giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits and four walks.

In his previous appearance June 27, Kuhl made his first start of the season with the White Sox, working three scoreless innings in a no-decision against Atlanta. Kuhl was merely getting a spot start amid a busy portion of the White Sox's schedule, as he returned to a mop-up role out of the bullpen a week later. With the Chicago rotation at full strength with the exception of Mike Clevinger (elbow) -- who appears close to a return from the injured list -- Kuhl isn't expected to get any chances to start again in the near future.

The White Sox optioned Wilson to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.

Wilson holds a 3.46 ERA with 26 strikeouts in 26 relief innings this season, but he's also been wild with 17 walks, resulting in a 5.36 FIP. Jordan Leasure was called up from Charlotte to take Wilson's spot in Chicago's bullpen.
