Suarez picked up his seventh save of the season by pitching a scoreless ninth in the win over the Blue Jays on Sunday. He allowed one hit and struck out a batter.

Suarez entered to protect a three-run lead and did so without breaking much of a sweat. He got through the inning in nine pitches and started things off by striking out Vladimir Guerrero before getting Justin Turner to hit into a game-ending double play. Suarez remains perfect on save chances and now owns a 0.93 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 9:4 K:BB in 9.2 innings.

Mears allowed one hit while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning in Sunday's win over Mariners.

Mears entered in a scoreless game at home, traditional usage for a closer. He handled the high-leverage situation well, as he erased a one-out single by inducing a double play from the next batter he faced. Jake Bird still has the only save for the Rockies this season, but Mears appears to be in consideration for the closer role as well.

Lawrence (1-1) allowed one unearned run on one hit while striking out two to earn the win in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Mariners.

Lawrence entered in the 10th inning of a scoreless game. He allowed a single to the first batter he faced -- which plated a run -- but he went on to retire the next three batters he faced. The Rockies rallied in the bottom of the frame to give Lawrence his first win of the season, and he has not been charged with an earned run in six of his eight appearances.

Kopech threw a scoreless inning during which he didn't allow a baserunner and struck out two Sunday against the Phillies.

Kopech made his first appearance since blowing a save chance Wednesday. While it wasn't in a save situation, Kopech was nevertheless impressive, retiring the side on 13 pitches while generating three swinging strikes. He's now turned in six scoreless performances in nine appearances this season, also maintaining a 17:6 K:BB across 11.1 innings.

Miller (0-1) took the loss Sunday versus the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits while striking out one and walking none over one inning.

Miller's five-inning scoreless streak came to an end Sunday, though it wasn't all his fault. He struggled initially this season, but has since gotten back on track and earned two holds over his last three appearances. Miller has a 5.73 ERA, but his 0.91 WHIP and 15:5 K:BB over 11 innings suggest the southpaw's luck should even out over time as he gets more comfortable in the majors.

Lambert (2-1) was tagged with the loss after he pitched three innings, allowing six runs on six hits while striking out five batters in Sunday's 10-2 defeat to the Mariners in Game 2 of their doubleheader.

Lambert was able to toss a clean first inning before things got away from him in the top of the second, surrendering six runs in the frame with J.P. Crawford most notably ripping a three-run triple. The right-hander was making his first start of the season and he was unable to continue the success that he had coming out of the bullpen, watching his ERA balloon from 2.31 to 5.52 on the year. Lambert is tentatively set to pitch again next Sunday at home versus the Astros.

Raley (elbow) had an MRI on Sunday, which revealed no structural damage in his left elbow, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Raley was placed on the 15-day injured list with left elbow inflammation Sunday, but manager Carlos Mendoza believes he's likely to miss the minimum two weeks following the MRI results. The Mets appear to have dodged the worst with their impressive left-hander.

Gonzalez earned the save Sunday, allowing one walk and no hits with a strikeout over a scoreless inning.

Gonzalez drew the save opportunity due to Clay Holmes getting a day off, and the former converted for his second save of the campaign. Gonzalez has been a reliable arm for the Yankees thus far, yielding a run in just one of his nine appearances this season (8.1 innings).

Diaz earned the save Sunday, allowing no hits and one walk with a strikeout over one scoreless inning against the Angels.

Diaz converted on his fourth consecutive save opportunity, delivering his fifth straight scoreless appearance. During that stretch (5.1 innings) he's allowed one hit and three walks with six punchouts. His four saves is tied for the sixth most in the National League.

Soriano (0-3) took the loss Sunday, allowing three hits and three walks with seven strikeouts over six scoreless innings against Cincinnati.

Soriano was excellent Sunday, setting a career-high in strikeouts over six scoreless. He's been a solid option for the Angels since moving out of the bullpen, having allowed one run and four hits with 13 strikeouts in his past two appearances (11.0 innings). However, he's had difficulties with control, walking eight batters in that stretch. Soriano's next start is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Twins.
