Cronin was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Cronin put up a 7.71 ERA and 1.43 WHIP over seven innings in an earlier stint with the White Sox. The team hasn't announced a corresponding move, but worth noting is Jimmy Lambert departed an appearance Sunday with an ankle injury.

Lawrence (4-7) allowed two earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one across two-thirds of an inning to take the loss Saturday against the Blue Jays.

Lawrence was unable to close out Saturday's win against the Rangers but was called upon again Sunday in a high-leverage chance. This time, he entered the game in the ninth inning with the score tied, but he surrendered three singles and a walk to take the loss. Lawrence has now allowed at least one earned run in five of his last seven appearances, and he has an 18.00 ERA and 3.33 WHIP across six innings in that span. It's possible the Rockies look to other options at closer, with Tyler Kinely being one potential alternative.

Lange worked around a hit and a walk to record a scoreless inning and earn the save in Sunday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

Lange allowed a leadoff single and a one-out walk, but a double play grounder got him out of trouble. The righty has been shaky at times this season, though he's been Detroit's preferred ninth-inning option, and he now has 21 saves in 25 chances. Walks have plagued Lange, as he's recorded 42 of them in just 54.2 innings, but he's been able to offset that to some degree with 66 strikeouts. He should remain the closer moving forward, at least if he can limit the free passes.

Sands was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Monday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports.

Sands wasn't going to be available for a couple days after needing 50 pitches to get through a two-inning relief outing Sunday. The Twins are expected to recall Louie Varland from St. Paul to replace Sands in the bullpen.

Diaz allowed three runs on two hits while not retiring a batter in Sunday's 15-7 loss to the Cubs.

A depleted pitching staff caught up with the Reds, as a slugfest used up several pitchers before Diaz entered a 5-5 game in the eighth inning. The bases were loaded when the closer entered, and Diaz sandwiched a pair to two-run singles around a throwing error of his own. The silver lining is that he used up only 14 pitches, and Diaz should be available if a save opportunity presents itself Monday against Seattle.

Stephan (6-5) took the loss Sunday versus the Rays. He allowed a run on a hit and a walk while striking out two over one inning.

Stephan allowed a go-ahead RBI single to Taylor Walls in the eighth inning. It was just the third run he's allowed over 15 innings since the start of August. The right-hander is now at a 2.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB through 60.1 innings while adding two saves and 25 holds. While he'll still likely see plenty of setup work, the waiver additions of Matt Moore and Reynaldo Lopez could impact Stephan's usage over the last month of the season.

Curry allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings in Sunday's loss to the Rays. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

Aside from Rene Pinto's two-run homer in the third inning, Curry turned in a sharp performance. It was a nice rebound for Curry after he was tagged with six runs in just two innings during his last start. He owns a 3.95 ERA this season but has registered a 4.85 ERA over 52 innings since his last win June 9. Curry's next start is currently lined up to be on the road against the Angels.

Fairbanks retired the only two batters he faced and earned a save over Cleveland on Sunday.

Fairbanks entered the ninth inning with two on and one out. He quickly finished off the 6-2 win with just seven pitches. He rebounded quickly after blowing a save against the Guardians on Saturday after converting his previous 15 chances. Fairbanks owns a 2.55 ERA with a 46:15 K:BB through 35.1 frames.

Winn allowed four hits and a walk over five scoreless innings in relief during Sunday's loss to the Padres.

After Alex Cobb gave up four runs in three innings to begin the game, Winn handled the rest of the duties. It was Winn's first MLB appearance since July 4 and the first scoreless outing of his MLB career. He now owns a 3.33 ERA through 27 innings this season. Winn will likely continue eating bulk bullpen innings, though he could slide into the rotation if necessary.

May struck out the only batter he faced and earned a save against the Angels on Sunday.

Kirby Snead was originally called upon to finish the game for Oakland but struggled in the ninth inning. May came in to clean up the mess and struck out Mike Moustakas on three pitches to end the 10-6 victory. May has allowed three earned runs over his last 15 appearances, all coming during an ugly outing Aug. 13 against Washington. He's lowered his season ERA from 5.32 to 3.99 during that stretch and has now converted 17 of his 20 save opportunities.
