The Rays released Lopez on Monday.

The left-hander was removed from the 40-man roster last week and is now on the free-agent market. Lopez made one appearance for the Rays this season but has spent most of the year at Triple-A Durham, where he held a 7.89 ERA and 32:19 K:BB over 29.2 frames.

Karchar cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

The reliever is no longer on the 40-man roster but will remain in the Reds' organization. Karchar made one scoreless appearance with the Reds last month and has struggled mightily with his control with more walks than strikeouts this season at Louisville.

Garcia (3-3) struck out two in a perfect inning of relief Sunday to pick up the win in an extra-inning victory over the Tigers.

With the score tied in the ninth inning, Garcia took the mound and set down Detroit's 8-9-1 hitters before Toronto took the lead in the top of the 10th. The right-hander has two wins, a save and a hold over the course of a nine-appearance scoreless streak, and since the beginning of June, Garcia boasts a 1.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and dazzling 15:1 K:BB over 12 innings as he pushes his way back into a high-leverage role for the Blue Jays.

Chargois recorded his fourth hold of the season in Sunday's win over the Phillies, not allowing a hit or a walk in two-thirds of an inning.

Jesus Luzardo got the hook with one out in the seventh inning after hitting Bryson Stott with a pitch, but Chargois quickly induced a double play from Edmundo Sosa. The right-hander hasn't seen much high-leverage usage this season, and over 12 innings since the beginning of June, Chargois has a 3.75 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB.

White (elbow) resumed his rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Friday and recorded two outs via strikeout while allowing no runs on one hit and one walk.

White, who is working his way back from April 2022 Tommy John surgery, was cleared to begin a rehab assignment in the FCL in early June. However, he made just three appearances before the Rays opted to shut him down for approximately three weeks. After the brief reset, the 24-year-old right-hander looks poised to begin building back up again, and once he gets a few appearances under his belt in the lower levels of the minors, he could be reinstated from Triple-A Durham's 7-day injured list. White occupies a spot on the Rays' 40-man roster and could be a contributor in the big-league bullpen in August or September if he excels once he's back with Durham.

Sulser (shoulder) began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League last week and has given up two earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out four over two innings across two appearances.

Sulser has been stuck on the Diamondbacks' 60-day injured list since early April due to a right shoulder strain and will likely need several more appearances at multiple minor-league affiliates before Arizona is comfortable activating him. The 33-year-old has recorded 15 career saves in the majors, but he's coming off a poor 2022 season in Miami and is now working his way back from a long-term injury. Sulser may have to settle for low-leverage work out of the bullpen once he's ultimately activated.

Banks worked in relief in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Cardinals, covering two innings and striking out four while allowing one earned run on one hit and one walk.

Banks was making his first appearance since June 30, when he started in Oakland in what ended up being a tandem arrangement with Jesse Scholtens. The White Sox elected to hand Scholtens a start this past week against Toronto, so he looks as though he'll retain a back-end rotation spot over Banks for the time being.

Sewald recorded his 17th save in a win over the Astros on Sunday, firing a scoreless ninth inning during which he issued a walk and recorded two strikeouts.

Sewald nailed down the Mariners' third win in four games over the Astros -- and his third save of July -- with a relatively comfortable frame during which he worked around a two-out walk of Kyle Tucker. Sewald had most recently pitched last Monday and allowed a season-high three earned runs over one inning to the Giants, so Sunday's scoreless frame gave the hard-throwing closer some momentum going into the All-Star break.

Sborz allowed three runs on five hits while striking out three over one inning in Sunday's 7-2 loss to Washington.

Sborz entered with two outs and two runners on in the sixth following starter Dane Dunning and gave up three consecutive singles, which turned a 2-1 deficit into 5-1. He then allowed two homers in the seventh and that was it for the right-hander. Sborz, who emerged as a trusted bullpen arm in June (0.55 ERA, 22 strikeouts, 16.1 innings), has gone the opposite direction in July. Sunday's outing was the third time in four games he's allowed three runs. In all, Sborz has allowed nine runs on nine hits and four walks over 3.1 innings this month.

Barlow fired a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Guardians. He allowed one hit and struck out a batter in the process.

Barlow should've ended the game with a strikeout of Will Brennan, but things got extended after Brennan reached on a dropped third strikeout to bring the tying run to the plate. Barlow wound up getting Myles Straw to line out to close out the game and grab his second save in July. The 30-year-old now sits at a 4.09 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 44:16 K:BB over 33 innings this year. He certainly could be another trade candidate for the Royals after they already shipped out Aroldis Chapman, where he'd likely move into a setup role on a playoff team.
