Lopez struck out three and improved to 10-7 on the season in Monday's 20-6 win over the Guardians after giving up one earned run on eight hits and three walks over six innings.

It wasn't Lopez's cleanest outing but he limited the damage to just one run in the third inning while Minnesota's offense hung 20 runs on the Guardians. After three straight scoreless starts, he's given up nine runs on 26 hits over his last 17 innings. Still, over his last nine appearances, Lopez has produced a 2.33 ERA across 54 frames. His next start is lined up to be at home against the Mets.

Bello (11-8) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Rays.

Bello stumbled out of the gate, yielding three runs in the first frame, but settled in for a quality start and a win. He tied his season best by forcing 16 whiffs and his seven strikeouts were the most he's produced since Aug. 1. Over his last four outings, the 24-year-old righty has registered a 2.66 ERA, dropping his season mark to 3.61 through 137 frames. Bello's next outing is projected for a home matchup against the Orioles.

Civale allowed three runs on two hits and three walks over 5.1 innings in Monday's loss to Boston. He struck out 12 and did not factor in the decision.

Civale gave up just one run through five frames but was charged with two more after Chris Devenski allowed a three-run shot to Triston Casas in the sixth inning. Civale's 12-strikeout performance set a new career high and marked his first double-digit strikeout performance since last season. He's allowed three or fewer runs in each of his first six appearances with the Rays, posting a 3.82 ERA and a 37:5 K:BB during that stretch. Civale is currently in line for a home matchup with the Mariners this weekend.

Berrios did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over six innings in a 6-5 win over the Athletics. He struck out seven.

Berrios blanked Oakland through his first four innings before giving up solo homers in the fifth and sixth. Still, it was an encouraging outing for the 29-year-old Berrios, who'd given up 10 runs over his previous two starts (12 innings). Overall, he's 9-10 with a 3.68 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 153:47 K:BB across 28 starts (164 innings) this season. Berrios is currently scheduled for a home matchup with the Royals in his next outing.

Heaney did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in a 13-6 loss against the Astros. He struck out one.

It's the fourth time in Heaney's last five starts that he's failed to make it through the fifth inning -- he's worked to a 4.66 ERA in that span (19.1 innings). Command was the biggest issue for Heaney on Monday, as he matched a season high with four walks. Overall, the left-hander is 9-6 with a 4.22 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 135:54 K:BB across 27 starts (132.1 innings) this season. Heaney will look to provide more length in his next start, currently scheduled for next week in Toronto.

Eovaldi (forearm) will be activated from the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against the Astros, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Eovaldi has been given the green light to return from the IL to make what will be just his second appearance since the All-Star break. The right-hander had been Texas' top starter prior to suffering the right forearm strain, going 11-3 and posting a 2.61 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 111:34 K:BB across 123.2 innings. His return represents a major boon for the Rangers, who are in a tight race with Houston and Seattle for first place in the AL West. Since Eovaldi hasn't pitched for Texas in seven weeks and didn't head out on a minor-league rehab assignment, he could be on a more limited pitch count than usual in his return Tuesday.

Woo (2-4) took the loss Monday, allowing five runs on four hits and three walks over five innings against Cincinnati without recording a strikeout.

The Reds got to Woo early Monday, scoring twice in the first inning before adding three more in the second on a Spencer Steer home run. The rookie right-hander would eventually settle in, delivering three scoreless frames to finish the outing, though he'd ultimately take his first loss since July 23. Woo had pitched well since coming off the IL in late August, allowing just one run in his previous two starts (10 innings). Overall, he sports a 4.50 ERA with a 1.19 WHIP and 68:22 K:BB across 14 starts (70 innings) this season. Woo's tentatively lined up for a road matchup with the Rays in his next outing.

Ragans (6-4) earned the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing two runners (one hit and one hit-by-pitch) over six scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

Ragans' amazing break out continued Monday afternoon as he retired the first 13 batters faced. In total, he only had to face 19 total batters to record 18 outs while generating 22 swings-and-misses. Ragans has been elite since debuting for the Royals on July 15. In eight starts since then, he's had a 1.51 ERA and 11.9 K/9 over 47.2 innings.

Athletics manager Mark Kotsay confirmed Monday that Miller (elbow) will be activated at some point this week, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Miller made a rehab start with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday, so the earliest he figures to rejoin the A's rotation would be Friday in Texas following Thursday's off day. The young right-hander threw just 37 pitches over four perfect innings Saturday, so his first start back would be relatively abbreviated. Miller has been out since early May because of a UCL sprain in his right elbow.

Faedo will start for the Tigers on Tuesday against the Yankees, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

We're less than a week removed from the Tigers saying Faedo would be used in a multi-inning relief role for a while, but they've evidently already reversed course. Faedo has put up a 4.89 ERA over 12 appearances (11 starts) for Detroit this season. With Faedo getting the start, it could be Joey Wentz shifting to relief.
