Toussaint is expected to start for the White Sox on Saturday against the Cardinals, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Toussaint struggled with his command in a spot start last Sunday at Oakland and lasted only 3.2 innings, but he'll try to give the White Sox some coverage in their second-to-last game before the All-Star break. The 27-year-old right-hander holds little fantasy appeal.

Ober allowed a run on four hits and three walks while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Orioles on Friday.

Ober limited the damage to a sixth-inning sacrifice fly from Cedric Mullins. This was Ober's fifth straight quality start -- in that span, he's given up nine runs over 31 innings with a 32:5 K:BB. The right-hander now has a 2.61 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 79:18 K:BB through 82.2 innings across 14 starts this season.

Irvin allowed a run on three hits and struck out four without walking a batter over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Twins on Friday.

Irvin has allowed exactly one run in five of his six outings (five starts) since returning to the big-league roster June 10. Friday's effort was his longest of the season, though a lack of run support helped stretch his winless streak to five appearances. He now sports a 5.50 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 32:13 K:BB through 37.2 innings across 10 appearances (eight starts) on the year. He's pitched well enough lately to remain in the rotation as the Orioles' fifth starter following the All-Star break.

Castillo (6-6) allowed an unearned run on five hits and struck out three without walking a batter over seven innings to earn the win Friday over the Astros.

Castillo limited the damage to a third-inning RBI single from Alex Bregman, which came after a two-out error by Kolten Wong. Castillo had given up three or more runs in four of his last five starts before Friday's sharp outing. The right-hander concludes the first half with a 2.85 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 117:28 K:BB through 107.1 innings over 18 starts. He's likely to next take the mound in the All-Star Game in Seattle, and he could still be in line to face the Tigers next weekend following the break.

Brown (6-6) allowed five runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out eight over three-plus innings to take the loss Friday versus the Mariners.

The right-hander's strikeout total was impressive, but the Mariners were able to get enough men on base over the first three innings to inflate his pitch count. Things fell apart in the fourth inning, when Brown and reliever Phil Maton were tagged for a combined nine runs. This was Brown's shortest start of the season, and he needed 88 pitches (49 strikes) to record only nine outs. He's faded toward the end of the first half and now owns a 4.12 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 111:33 K:BB through 94 innings across 17 starts. He'll have at least a week off to reset before making his first start coming out of the All-Star break.

Medina allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings in Friday's loss to Boston. He struck out nine and did not factor in the decision.

Medina entered the game in the second inning after opener Sam Long loaded the bases with no outs. All three runners would cross home plate with Medina on the mound, followed by four more over the next six frames. He did strike out a career-high nine batters though, while also issuing just one walk after dishing out 12 free passes over his previous 10 innings. Medina now owns a 6.34 ERA with a 58:32 K:BB through 59.2 frames this season.

Glasnow battled cramping in his hands and legs Friday against Atlanta, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

That's what led to his exit in the top of the sixth inning. Rays manager Kevin Cash noted that the 29-year-old right-hander has dealt with similar types of cramps before and that he was probably done for the night anyway at 88 pitches. Glasnow should be able to take his next scheduled turn in the rotation coming out of the All-Star break. He racked up eight strikeouts Friday versus Atlanta while yielding two runs (one earned) on two hits and one walk across 5.2 frames. He stands 2-3 with a 4.10 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 64:16 K:BB in eight starts and 41.2 innings this year.

Glasnow exited his start Friday against Atlanta due to cramping, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

There are no specifics, but Glasnow could be spotted massaging and stretching his non-throwing hand as he departed in the top of the sixth inning. If it is indeed just a cramp, the 29-year-old righty should be able to avoid the IL and slot back into the Rays' rotation the weekend after the All-Star break. He finished with eight strikeouts against only one walk Friday while scattering two runs -- one earned -- on two hits over 5.2 frames.

Glasnow was removed from his start Friday versus Atlanta due to an apparent injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow seemed to be having some trouble with his left (glove) hand, as he was rubbing and stretching it as he walked off the field with a trainer at his side. The 29-year-old right-hander had allowed two runs -- one earned -- over 5.2 innings prior to his departure in the top of the sixth. He issued only one walk and struck out eight.

Urquidy (shoulder) is scheduled to throw live batting practice Sunday in Houston, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Yordan Alvarez (oblique) will be among the batters standing in against Urquidy, who's been on the shelf since May 1 due to a bad case of right shoulder inflammation. If all goes well during Sunday's workout, Urquidy could be cleared to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment sometime next week. He's on track to return to the Astros' rotation around mid-to-late July.
