Ryan (7-3) was dealt a tough-luck loss against the Guardians on Sunday, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out four over 6.2 innings.

Ryan was cruising and had faced the minimum through 6.2 frames before walking Jose Ramirez and surrendering an RBI double to Josh Naylor for the first run of the game for either team. He was then replaced by Caleb Thielbar, who immediately allowed a triple to Andres Gimenez. Those two runs were enough to hand Ryan the loss despite a late rally from the Twins. The 27-year-old returned to dominant form after a blunder against the Astros earlier in the week, and now sits at a 2.76 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 80:14 K:BB over 71.2 innings. He'll look to get back in the win column in a road test against the Blue Jays next weekend.

Singer (4-4) shut out the Rockies over 5.2 innings Sunday, allowing just five hits and no walks while striking out seven to get the win.

Singer did not allow an extra base hit nor did he allow a single runner to get into scoring position. The 26-year-old did not walk a batter for the first time since April 25 and his seven strikeouts were his most in a start since April 14. Singer has allowed two earned runs or less in four of his last five starts and now sits at a 6.45 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 56:23 K:BB over 60 innings. He'll look to pick up another win in a tentative matchup against the Orioles next weekend.

German allowed one run on four hits and a walk over 6.2 innings Sunday. He struck out six and did not factor in the decision.

German rolled through six shutout frames before coughing up a solo homer to J.D. Martinez in the seventh inning. Over his last six starts, German has allowed two or fewer runs in five of them, lowering his season ERA to 3.69 through 61 innings. He's allowed a homer in two straight starts after not giving one up in four consecutive outings. The 30-year-old is currently projected to face the Red Sox at home in his next start.

Maeda (triceps) gave up two earned runs over three innings with four strikeouts and no walks during a rehab start Sunday for Triple-A St. Paul.

It was his second rehab outing with the Saints, and he went one inning longer than his first start, tossing 45 pitches (29 strikes) this time out. Maeda will likely need at least a couple more rehab starts before he's ready to be considered for Minnesota's rotation. The 35-year-old right-hander posted a 9.00 ERA across his first four starts (16 innings) this season before going on the injured list due to a right triceps strain, but 10 of the 16 runs he allowed came in the game during which he got hurt, April 26 against the Yankees.

Wells (4-2) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out nine over 5.1 innings to earn the win Sunday over the Giants.

Wells got through five scoreless innings while allowing just four baserunners, but he faded in the sixth. Blake Sabol ended Wells' outing with a two-run home run, but the Orioles' lead was never in danger. The nine strikeouts were a season high for Wells, who picked up his first win in four starts. The right-hander has a 3.29 ERA with an excellent 0.85 WHIP and solid 70:14 K:BB through 12 outings (11 starts) spanning 68.1 innings. Baltimore is using its off day Monday to reset the rotation by skipping the No. 5 spot, so Wells should pitch on normal rest versus the Royals in his next start.

Blackburn did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings against the Marlins. He struck out three.

Blackburn held Miami to two runs through four innings before Garrett Cooper blasted a three-run homer in the fifth. Through his first two starts this season, Blackburn's allowed six runs on 11 hits with a 9:4 K:BB over nine innings and he's still looking for his first win. He's currently scheduled to face the Brewers in his next outing.

Eovaldi (8-2) allowed one hit and struck out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win Sunday over the Mariners.

Eovaldi was given plenty of support early on and left with a 12-0 lead after six dominant frames. This was the right-hander's fifth scoreless outing of the season, all of which have come in his last seven starts. He's won six times in that span. Eovaldi is at a 2.24 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 77:14 K:BB through 80.1 innings over 12 appearances this season, cementing himself as one of the top pitchers in 2023. His next start is projected to be a tough one on the road versus the Rays.

Miller (3-3) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 2.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Mariners.

Miller has now given up 15 runs over his last seven innings spanning two starts. The Rangers were able to pick him apart in the third inning, when he allowed a home run, three doubles and two singles before Gabe Speier worked out of trouble. It's tough to read too much into Miller's sudden struggles -- he's taken care of weaker opponents, but the Yankees and the Rangers are both top-10 offenses for run scoring. The right-hander is now at a 4.46 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB through 38.1 innings over seven starts. He's projected for a weekend road start versus the Angels in his next outing.

Kikuchi did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings against the Mets. He struck out eight.

Kikuchi has allowed two runs in each of his last two starts after pitching to a 7.90 ERA in his previous three outings. Tommy Pham was responsible for both of the runs against Kikuchi on Sunday with a pair of solo homers. The 31-year-old left-hander is 6-2 with a 4.40 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 60:20 K:BB through 12 starts (61.1 innings) this season. He's tentatively lined up to face the Twins at home in his next outing.

Boyd allowed a run on three hits and struck out nine without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus the White Sox on Sunday.

Boyd pitched well, but the Tigers' bullpen couldn't maintain the lead. The three baserunners were a season low, while his nine strikeouts were a season high to make this his sharpest start of the year. It's just the second time he's limited an opponent to one run or less. Boyd has struggled to a 5.57 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 53:22 K:BB through 53.1 innings over 11 starts this year, his first as a starter since 2021. He's projected for a home start versus Arizona in his next outing.
