Maeda (arm) is listed as the Twins' probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the White Sox at Target Field.

Maeda's inclusion on the pitching schedule to begin the Twins' seven-game week is an indication that he's feeling fine after he exited his most recent start last Tuesday against the Marlins due to right arm fatigue. In spite of the issue, Maeda turned in a gem in his 2023 debut, limiting Miami to one run one three hits and no walks while striking out nine over five innings. Maeda is lined up for a two-start week, with his second turn expected to come Saturday in New York versus the Yankees.

Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters that Bradish (foot) threw a side session Saturday that went well, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.comreports.

Bradish was placed on the injured list after being diagnosed with a right foot contusion, but the right-hander is already making steady progress and has a great chance to rejoin Baltimore's rotation when first eligible April 19.

Glasnow (oblique) threw off flat ground Sunday and said that he expects to throw a bullpen session next week, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow added that he's been long tossing for "a while" now and throwing out past 120 feet. The right-hander has been out since late February while recovering from a left oblique strain. Glasnow will need several bullpen sessions and rehab starts before joining the Rays rotation, but the 29-year-old right-hander looks to have steered clear of any setbacks up to this point in his recovery program.

Tigers manager A.J. Hinch told reporters before Sunday's game against the Red Sox that the plan is for Lorenzen (groin) to make his next start in the big leagues, but he'll be evaluated by the medical staff before making the decision, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Lorenzen made a rehab start Saturday for Triple-A Toledo and gave up four runs in 2.1 innings of work against Triple-A Iowa. The right-hander is recovering from a left groin strain and missed well over two weeks with the injury, so it's possible Lorenzen won't be fully stretched out for an appearance or two with the Tigers, assuming that he gets clearance to join the club.

Means (elbow) threw breaking balls in Saturday's bullpen session, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

It's the first time that Means has been able to throw all of his pitches in a session as he recovers from Tommy John surgery. The southpaw will need several more bullpen sessions and also a lengthy rehab session, but he has a chance to rejoin the Baltimore rotation around the All-Star break.

Irvin (0-2) took the loss Saturday as the Orioles fell 4-1 to the Yankees. He gave up three runs on four hits and four walks over 4.2 innings and struck out five.

The southpaw's debut with Baltimore has not gone smoothly so far. Irvin was expected to provide the team with some stability in the rotation, but instead he's failed to last five innings in either of his first two starts, stumbling to a 9.35 ERA and 9:6 K:BB through 8.2 innings. He'll look to turn things around in his next outing, which could come next week in a home tilt against his former club, the A's.

Brito (2-0) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over five innings in a 4-1 victory over the Orioles. He struck out two.

The rookie right-hander wasn't dominant, generating only six swinging strikes among his 92 pitches, but Brito didn't give up much hard contact and benefitted from some strong defense behind him. Unlike his last start, Brito wasn't immediately sent back to Triple-A after his outing, and it looks as though he'll get a chance to make a case for the Yankees' fifth starter job after posting a 0.90 ERA and 8:3 K:BB through his first 10 major-league innings. If he does remain with the big club, the 25-year-old's next start would likely come at home against the Twins.

Clevinger (2-0) picked up the win Saturday, giving up four runs on eight hits and two walks over 5.1 innings in an 11-5 victory over the Pirates. He struck out one.

It was far from a pretty performance by the right-hander, who managed only four swinging strikes among his 88 pitches, but the Chicago offense gave him more than enough support. Clevinger's 3.48 ERA isn't reflected in his 1.55 WHIP or 9:5 K:BB through 10.1 innings, but he'll look to make it three wins in a row to begin his White Sox tenure when he next takes the mound, likely next weekend at home against the Orioles.

Quantrill (0-1) took the loss Saturday as the Guardians were downed 3-2 by the Mariners. He gave up three runs on seven hits and a walk over five innings and struck out three.

All the damage off Quantrill came in the first two innings, and while he settled down after that, Cleveland's bats couldn't climb out of the hole. The right-hander threw 59 of 93 pitches for strikes before exiting, and he'll look to get in the win column in his next outing, likely to come next weekend on the road against the Nationals.

Gonzales (1-0) picked up the win Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and three walks over 5.2 innings in a 3-2 victory over the Guardians. He struck out five.

The southpaw wasn't quite efficient enough to record a quality start, tossing 62 of 93 pitches for strikes, but it was still a big improvement on his first outing of the season. Gonzales will look to build on this performance in his next start, likely to come next weekend at home against the Rockies.
