Bradish (1-4) allowed five runs on nine hits and a walk with three strikeouts in 4.1 innings, taking the loss Monday versus the Blue Jays.

Bradish has completed five innings just once in his last six outings after doing so twice in his first three major-league starts. The fifth inning proved troublesome this time, as he was responsible for three of the Blue Jays' seven runs in the frame, though he was also to keep the ball in the yard for the first time this season. The right-hander has an uninspiring 6.86 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 43:17 K:BB and 10 home runs allowed across 42 innings this season. He's lined up for a tough home matchup in his next start versus the Rays this weekend.

Manoah (8-1) allowed a hit, a walk and a hit batter while striking out seven over six scoreless innings to earn the win Monday over the Orioles.

Manoah had no trouble quieting the Orioles' bats Monday, turning in his second straight outing of six shutout innings. He's posted a quality start in all but one of his 12 starts this season, and he's earned the win in four of his last five outings. The 24-year-old has posted a dominant 1.67 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 68:14 K:BB through 75.2 innings this season. He's projected for a home start versus the Yankees this weekend. While that's a tough matchup on paper, he's allowed just one run, four hits and five walks in 12 innings across two previous starts against the Yankees this season.

Kopech is feeling "a lot better" Monday after getting fluid drained from behind his knee, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Kopech left his start Sunday against the Rangers with right knee discomfort after recording just two outs, but he's yet to be placed on the injured list. He was cleared of structural damage following an MRI on Sunday, so if he continues to feel fine, he seemingly has a good chance to make his next start next weekend against the Astros.

Velasquez (groin) is expected to be reinstated from the 15-day injured list to start Wednesday's game against the Tigers, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Velasquez has been sidelined since late May due to a left groin strain, but his injury was considered minor, and he'll rejoin the rotation following a relatively minimal stay on the injured list. The right-hander had mixed results prior to his absence, as he posted a 5.30 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 35.2 innings over eight appearances (seven starts) to begin the year.

Lynn (knee) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list prior to Monday's start against the Tigers.

Lynn will make his season debut during Monday's series opener in Detroit after he missed the first two months of the year due to knee surgery. The right-hander was effective during his first season with the White Sox in 2021, posting a 2.69 ERA and 1.07 WHIP in 157 innings over 28 starts, but he gave up 10 runs in 10 innings during three rehab starts over the last few weeks.

Rodriguez (ribs) was transferred to the restricted list due to a personal matter Monday.

Rodriguez appeared to be close to a return from his strained left rib cage, but he'll now miss an unspecified amount of additional time. The Tigers have remained vague about both the reason for his absence and his expected return date. Depending on how long the personal matter keeps him out for, Rodriguez may be stuck with a further delay as he ramps back up to speed.

Greinke (elbow) struck out four over five shutout innings Sunday in his rehab start with Triple-A Omaha. He allowed one hit and no other baserunners in the outing.

Greinke retired the 15 of the 16 hitters he faced with extreme efficiency, needing just 49 pitches (33 strikes) to get the job done. Though the Royals might have preferred Greinke to work longer Sunday after missing his previous two turns through the big-league rotation with an elbow injury, he looks like he'll be ready to make his next start with Kansas City. Assuming Greinke checks out fine once he's re-evaluated by the big-league training staff, he could return from the 15-day injured list and slot into the Royals rotation Friday in Oakland.

Allard struck out one over a scoreless inning to pick up his first save in an 8-6 extra-innings win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Closer Joe Barlow had blown a save chance in the bottom of the 11th, which opened an opportunity for Allard, who had not pitched since being called up nine days ago. The left-hander opened the season in Texas, working as a stretched out, multi-inning reliever before being sent down to Triple-A Round Rock. Allard made a few starts for the Express, but is expected to return to a bullpen role in the majors.

Sandoval (3-2) took the loss during Sunday's 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Mets, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in six innings.

Sandoval put a season-high 10 runners on Sunday but was able to strand a majority of them, though it wasn't enough as Los Angeles put up only one run of support. The eight strikeouts were one off the 25-year-old's season high as Sandoval recorded an impressive 20 swinging strikes on 87 pitches. Despite a recent rough patch, Sandoval still owns a 2.83 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with 54 strikeouts in 54 innings across 10 starts. He lines up to face Seattle next weekend.

Ray didn't factor into the decision during Sunday's 2-0 loss to Boston, allowing three hits and one walk with four strikeouts in seven scoreless innings.

Ray and Boston starter Kutter Crawford engaged in an unlikely pitcher's duel, which prevented the reigning Cy Young winner from earning the victory despite posting a season-high 74 game score. The 30-year-old lefty has been mostly middling this season with an ERA stuck between 3.91 and 4.97 since April 13 but has been a workhorse, as his 76.2 innings rank third in MLB. Ray's slated to pitch again next weekend against the Angels.
