Means (shoulder) is expected to pitch three or four innings during his second rehab start Friday at Double-A Bowie, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander fired two frames in his first rehab outing Sunday and will continue ramping up his workload in the minors. Means is then tentatively scheduled for another start at Triple-A Norfolk next week, potentially putting him on track to rejoin the big-league rotation after the All-Star break during a three-game set in Tampa Bay beginning July 19.

Manoah won't start Thursday against the Orioles after the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Thursday's contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader in September, but Manoah will take the mound in Friday's series opener in Tampa Bay, Mike Wilner of the Toronto Star reports. The right-hander has allowed an unearned run on seven hits and three walks while striking out 16 in 13 innings across his last two starts.

McKenzie will be recalled from Triple-A Columbus to start Friday's game against the Royals, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

McKenzie was sent to the minors in mid-June, and he posted a 3.94 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 19:10 K:BB in 16 innings across four Triple-A starts since the demotion. He last pitched Sunday, so he should be on normal rest when he returns to the major-league club Friday. The right-hander made 11 appearances (10 starts) for Cleveland earlier in the year and recorded a 6.38 ERA and 59:39 K:BB in 42.1 innings.

Severino (elbow/groin) threw another bullpen Wednesday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Severino resumed mound work Saturday, and he was able to throw off the bullpen mound a second time Wednesday. If he feels good following Wednesday's throwing session, the right-hander could face hitters as early as this weekend. Severino's rehab from Tommy John surgery was delayed in mid-June due to a Grade 2 groin strain, but he could begin a rehab assignment in the near future if he remains on track in his recovery.

Singer allowed a run on five hits and a walk with six strikeouts in six-plus innings, taking a no-decision versus Cincinnati on Wednesday.

Wednesday's performance was the right-hander's sixth quality start in 18 outings this season. Singer got through six innings with little trouble, but he let the leadoff batter get on base in the seventh and Scott Barlow allowed the inherited runner to score. Through 85.2 innings this season, Singer has struggled to a 4.52 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 91:36 K:BB. He'll need to work on trimming down his 3.8 BB/9 in the second half of the season to put in more consistently strong outings.

Mize didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against the Rangers after tossing four innings of two-run ball, allowing two hits and fanning two.

Mize has given up two or fewer runs in each of his last three starts, but it's also worth noting he has pitched into the sixth just once in that span. The young right-hander is averaging nearly six innings per start this season, but he's accumulated just seven frames across his last two appearances. He will enter the All-Star break with a 3.59 ERA across 95.1 innings.

Gibson (6-1) was tagged with the loss Wednesday against the Tigers after allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks while fanning seven across 6.1 innings.

Gibson dropped a game for the first time this season, and despite the fact that he went into the seventh inning, this could be qualified as one of his worst outings of the campaign. He gave up a season-high eight hits and also tied a season-worst mark in earned runs with five, which is the first time that's occurred since his first start of the year. The 33-year-old now heads into the All-Star break sporting an excellent 2.29 ERA and a 1.07 WHIP across 102 innings.

Watkins is listed as the Orioles' probable starter for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

The rookie right-hander will unsurprisingly get a second turn through the rotation after he limited the Blue Jays to one run on three hits and three walks across five innings in his first MLB start Tuesday. Watkins has a modest track record in the upper levels of the minors and generated only eight swinging strikes among his 89 pitches Tuesday, so fantasy managers may want to tread carefully with him.

Lynn (9-3) allowed one run on four hits and three walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win over Minnesota on Wednesday.

Lynn has allowed two runs or fewer in 13 of 16 starts and sports an impressive 1.99 ERA before heading to the All-Star game next Tuesday. Assuming he pitches at the mid-season exhibition, Lynn's first start after the break should come the following weekend.

Ryu (8-5) picked up the win Wednesday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over five innings in a 10-2 victory over the Orioles. He struck out seven.

The veteran lefty was staked to a 3-0 lead before he stepped on the mound, and Ryu never let Baltimore get back in the game. He hasn't made a quality start since June 20, a span of four starts. He'll head into the All-Star break with a 3.56 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 81:23 K:BB through 98.2 innings.
