Tolle allowed three hits and one walk while striking out six over five scoreless innings for Triple-A Worcester in a win over Columbus on Sunday.

Tolle breezed through his third start of the season and broke three Columbus bats in posting a second consecutive win. He was rocked in his first start for the WooSox but has shined since. After giving up six runs (four earned) over four innings in his season debut, the left-hander has allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out 13 over 11 innings in two subsequent outings. Boston's rotation, which had a rough first 10 games to start the season, just completed an encouraging turn, so it doesn't look like Tolle will be heading east to Boston in the short term.

Crawford (wrist) allowed five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five over three innings in a rehab start for Triple-A Worcester on Saturday.

Crawford began a rehab assignment with notable rust, but it wasn't all bad for the right-hander. He gave up three home runs, but was around the zone (43 strikes among 60 pitches). The Red Sox are expected to use up all the rehab time available to evaluate Crawford, who last pitched in 2024, before making a decision as to his next step.

Bibee (0-2) took the loss Sunday, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and a walk over 4.2 innings in a 13-1 loss to Atlanta. He struck out four.

Bibee was hit hard, allowing multiple runs in the second, third and fifth innings before being lifted. The right-hander entered Sunday's contest with a 3.29 ERA and 1.32 WHIP through his first three starts, but those numbers have now ballooned to a 6.38 ERA and 1.64 WHIP across 18.1 innings. His next start is projected to come Friday against Baltimore.

deGrom (1-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and three walks over six innings against the Dodgers. He struck out nine.

After dealing with right knee discomfort following his previous start, deGrom showed no signs of being affected and looked strong Sunday, striking out nine while largely holding the Dodgers' offense at bay, aside from a leadoff homer by Shohei Ohtani, in a winning effort. Through three starts this season, the numbers align with the dominance expected from deGrom, as he owns a 2.87 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with 22 strikeouts across 15.2 innings.

Rasmussen (1-0) earned the win Sunday against the Yankees, allowing one hit and striking out seven batters without issuing any walks over six scoreless innings.

Rasmussen was activated from the family medical emergency list just in time to start Sunday's contest, his first since becoming a dad to his second child. The 30-year-old showed no signs of rust, twirling a gem in his return to the mound. The right-hander surrendered just one hit, walked nobody and struck out seven. His latest masterclass brings his season numbers down to a 1.13 ERA, 0.56 WHIP, 17 strikeouts and one walk in 18 innings pitched.

Schlittler (2-1) took the loss Sunday against the Rays, allowing three runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out eight in five innings of work.

Schlittler was tagged for three runs for a second straight start, with all the damage coming in the first two innings in this one. He settled in nicely after that, ending the night with eight strikeouts. The 25-year-old has reached at least seven strikeouts in each of his four starts this season and walked just his first batter on the year Sunday, giving him a 30:1 K:BB ratio so far.

Gilbert (1-2) earned the win against the Astros on Sunday, allowing one run on four hits and one walk with seven strikeouts across seven innings.

Gilbert had a 5.40 ERA through his first three starts of the season but was able to get in the win column with a gem Sunday. The right-hander's only mistake was a solo homer allowed to Yainer Diaz in the top of the fifth inning. Gilbert needed just 85 pitches to breeze through seven frames and has lowered his ERA to 4.18 with a 25:4 K:BB across 23.2 innings. Gilbert is in line to next take the mound Friday at home against the Rangers.

Povich (1-0) earned the win against the Giants on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with five strikeouts over 6.2 innings.

Povich allowed a run in the fifth inning but was otherwise fantastic, generating 17 whiffs on 97 pitches and allowing just one extra-base hit. The young southpaw followed up a solid bulk relief outing April 5 and has yielded three runs across 12.1 innings to open the campaign. He certainly did all he could to earn another turn in the rotation, which would tentatively line up for a road matchup against the Guardians next weekend.

Scherzer (1-2) took the loss against the Twins on Sunday, allowing eight runs on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts over 2.1 innings.

Scherzer opened with a perfect first inning before allowing eight runs while recording just four more outs. His velocity appeared normal, so it doesn't seem tied to the forearm tendinitis the 41-year-old dealt with in his previous outing, but he generated only four whiffs on 68 pitches and surrendered two homers. He'll take an ugly 9.58 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 9:4 K:BB across 10.1 innings into a road matchup with the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Bradley (3-0) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing one run on five hits and four walks with seven strikeouts over five innings.

Bradley allowed a run in the first inning before rebounding with four scoreless frames, despite throwing just 62 of 106 pitches for strikes and issuing a season-high four walks. While he wasn't sharp Sunday, the 25-year-old has now won three straight contests and has yielded just three total earned runs over four starts to open the season. He'll carry a 1.25 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB across 21.2 innings into a home matchup against the Reds next weekend.
