Montgomery (2-1) allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out nine over six innings in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

Montgomery was fantastic Tuesday after allowing a season-low two hits and tying his career high with nine strikeouts. His lone mistake was allowing a solo home run to Mike Zunino in the third but overall he was dominant after the Rays chased him for eight runs over 11 innings in his first two meetings against them in April. What really stood out were his strikeouts because he had just 10 over his last three starts and nearly broke that in one outing. The 28-year-old lowered his ERA to 3.96 and has a 37:9 K:BB over 38.2 innings as he'll get set to face off against the Orioles this weekend.

Kikuchi hurled 6.1 innings against the Dodgers on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out 11.

The southpaw's 11 strikeouts were a career high, and he racked up 17 swinging strikes in the contest. Kikuchi looked to be in line for a win upon entering the seventh frame with a 4-1 lead, but a pair of singles -- one of which didn't leave the infield -- resulted in his removal from the game, and the Dodgers brought home both runners en route to a come-from-behind win. Nonetheless, Kikuchi finished with his third straight quality start, and he has struck out 25 batters across 20.1 frames during that stretch. He'll look to keep building on the hot stretch in his next start, currently projected to come against Cleveland at home Sunday.

Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the A's, giving up one run on two hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander tossed 102 pitches (65 strikes) while delivering his third quality start of the season, exiting the game with the score tied 1-1. Eovaldi will carry a 4.20 ERA and 41:10 K:BB through 45 innings into his next outing, when he'll look to last at least six innings in consecutive starts for the first time all year.

Maeda allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three across five innings Tuesday against the White Sox. He did not factor into the decision.

Maeda was sunk by a poor second inning, during which he allowed the first two batters he faced to reach base followed by a three-run blast to Yasmani Grandal. He went on to retire the final nine batters he faced, though he struggled to get strikeouts and generated only 10 swinging strikes on 87 total pitches. Lack of punchouts is now an ongoing concern for Maeda, as he's managed only 15 across his last 19 innings of work. For the season, Maeda has maintained a 5.08 ERA with a 31:9 K:BB across 33.2 innings. He currently lines up to draw his next start Sunday against Oakland.

Bassitt (3-2) picked up the win Tuesday, allowing two runs on three hits over seven innings in a 3-2 victory over the Red Sox. He struck out 10 without walking a batter.

It's the first time this season, and just the third time in his career, that Bassitt has fanned double-digit batters. The right-hander has reeled off five straight quality starts, and he'll take a 3.54 ERA and 53:12 K:BB through 48.1 innings into his next outing.

Cease allowed three earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out seven across five innings in Tuesday's win over the Twins. He did not factor into the decision.

Cease had a rough second inning, giving up three hits, a walk and all three of his runs. However, he settled in from there and retired eight of the last 10 batters he faced. While Cease's overall stat line from Tuesday doesn't stand out, he did continue to show swing-and-miss stuff by generating 20 swinging strikes on 97 total pitches. For the season, he now has a 2.80 ERA with a 47:17 K:BB across 35.1 innings. Cease lines up to make his next start Sunday against the Royals.

Singer took a no-decision Tuesday against the Tigers after surrendering four runs on seven hits and a pair of walks while striking out four across 3.1 innings.

Singer got the Royals off to a good start by blanking the Tigers through three. Trouble then struck in the fourth inning after the right-hander put runners at the corners, giving up a triple and a walk with no outs. Detroit capitalized on the opportunity, knocking in a total of four runs as Singer departed the game for good. It was a tough outing for the 24-year-old, who had recorded his best start of the season against the Tigers in April. He'll look to bounce back during his next projected start on the road Sunday versus the White Sox.

Boyd settled for a no-decision during Tuesday's win despite holding the Royals scoreless across six innings. He allowed four hits and a pair of walks while striking out five.

After missing a turn in the rotation because of knee tendonitis, Boyd looked solid against Kansas City, posting his second scoreless outing of the season. Boyd left the game with a seven-run lead, which unfortunately was erased by the bullpen. Despite the 30-year-old's excellent stat line (1.94 ERA, 0.94 WHIP), Boyd's typical lack of run support and bullpen reliability have hurt his fantasy value. He's slated to make his next start Sunday against the Cubs.

McCullers (3-1) allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out nine across eight innings, earning the win over the Angels on Tuesday.

McCullers needed only 96 pitches to get through those eight frames. The only run against him came in his last inning on a solo homer by Taylor Ward. The 27-year-old's only bad performance this year was, oddly enough, against the Tigers -- six runs in 3.2 innings. If you take away that start, he has a 1.95 ERA in 37 innings. Overall, he owns a 3.10 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP with 47 strikeouts through 40.2 innings.

Bieber (4-2) picked up the win Tuesday against the Cubs after giving up two runs on nine hits with eight strikeouts and three walks over 6.2 innings.

The right-hander certainly wasn't at his best, as he threw 121 pitches and had a season-low eight strikeouts, but he delivered another quality start while scattering 13 baserunners. Bieber has yet to surrender more than three earned runs in any start this season, and he has a 2.95 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 85:18 K:BB across 55 frames in 2021.
