German (suspension) will not pitch during the postseason, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

German's suspension for violating the league's domestic violence policy will expire early in the playoffs, but he won't be able to build up in time to play even a minor role. He'll be ready to go come next year's spring training, though his role at that point will be unclear as he will have gone over a year without throwing a competitive pitch.

Sandoval tossed 4.1 innings against Texas on Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven.

Starter Julio Teheran was lifted before recording an out in the second inning, leaving the Angels bullpen to navigate through the remainder of the contest. Sandoval assumed the largest load, throwing 62 pitches and striking out a season-high seven batters. He did yield a long ball -- as he has in each of his seven appearances this season -- but the solo shot accounted for the only run the Rangers could muster against him. Sandoval is settling into a long-relief role for the Halos after struggling as a starter earlier in the campaign.

Walker (4-3) allowed one run on four hits and two walks over six innings Sunday, striking out eight and earning the victory over Philadelphia.

Walker rebounded well from his brutal start against the Yankees on Tuesday, allowing just one run against the Phillies on Sunday. After yielding an RBI double to Didi Gregorius in the first inning, he silenced Philadelphia's lineup and cruised through five straight scoreless frames. The 28-year-old lowered his ERA to 2.86 across 50.1 innings. Walker will make his final regular-season start Saturday at home against Baltimore.

Keller (4-3) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks over five innings Sunday, striking out four and taking the loss against Milwaukee.

For most of the afternoon, Keller had a fine outing unless Daniel Vogelbach was at the dish. He coughed up two homers to the lefty slugger, one in the first inning and another in the sixth, accounting for all five of Milwaukee's runs. The 25-year-old's ERA jumped from 2.06 to 2.77 across 48.2 innings this season. Keller will make his final start of the season Friday at home against Detroit.

Teheran (0-4) took the loss Sunday against the Rangers, allowing three runs on two hits and two walks in one-plus innings pitched. He did not record a strikeout.

The right-hander's outing got off to a rough start, with Joey Gallo taking him deep for a two-run homer in the first inning. He went out for the second but was pulled after allowing another long ball to Anderson Tejeda and a walk to Derek Dietrich. Teheran's ERA has jumped all the way up to 9.49 after allowing seven earned runs across just three innings during his last two starts. He is scheduled to make his final start of the year Saturday against the Dodgers.

Berrios (5-3) allowed four hits and a walk and struck out four in six innings in a win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Berrios was at just about his best Sunday, throwing 54 of his 85 pitches for strikes in a dominant display against the Cubs. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.72 with a 1.31 WHIP and 61 strikeouts in 58 innings this year. He'll look for win No. 6 in his final start of the regular season, currently projected for next Sunday versus the Reds.

Dunn allowed three runs on two hits and four walks with six strikeouts in 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Sunday.

Dunn was effective Sunday, but manager Scott Servais may have left him in the game too long. Dunn walked Eric Hosmer and gave up a ground rule double to Mitch Moreland before Wil Myers lifted a three-run homer to end the right-hander's outing. The 24-year-old Dunn has a 4.20 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 36 strikeouts across 40.2 innings this season. He will likely get one more start in 2020, which lines up with Saturday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.

Urquidy allowed two runs on six hits and two walks over six innings Sunday, striking out two in the win over Arizona. He did not factor in the decision.

Urquidy kept the Diamondbacks quiet before allowing a run in the fourth inning and then a solo shot to Nick Ahmed in the fifth. He left the contest facing a 2-0 deficit but, thanks mostly to George Springer's two homers, he avoided the loss. The 25-year-old will carry a 2.78 ERA into his final start of the season in Friday's road contest against the Rangers.

Houck (2-0) allowed one unearned run on one hit and three walks while striking out four over six innings Sunday as he earned the win against the Yankees.

Houck carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning Sunday before he allowed the first extra-base hit of his career as Tyler Wade smacked a double with no outs in the top of the frame. Wade was brought in as an unearned run later in the inning, but Houck limited the damage otherwise. The 24-year-old has been electric in his first two major-league appearances as he's allowed zero earned runs over 11 innings. He'll likely take the mound once more to finish the regular season, and that start should come on the road Saturday against Atlanta.

Carrasco (3-4) allowed one hit and three walks over seven scoreless innings in a win over the Tigers on Sunday. He struck out 11.

It was reported that Carrasco experienced some calf tightness during his start Tuesday, but the right-hander showed no ill effects Sunday. In fact, he turned in a top-25 performance in all of the majors this season by Game Score (83). Carrasco now has a 2.90 ERA and 74:24 K:BB in 62 innings this year. He lines for one more start during the regular season, Friday at home against the Pirates.
